Any who claim for themselves the Son of God, must be able to show their allegiance to Him, think of it as a passport, without it, you will not gain entrance into the kingdom of God. “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6) No one can claim Christ as Lord and not have any visible proofs of their salvation to the world of the lost, it is how we are known, it is what has set us apart.
Many of those who say He is Lord do not serve Him as such, they pick and choose the times of their so-called service to Him, sacrifice of time and money is an optional inconvenience, self still rules in their lives. It is of course the Lord that knows His own, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27) But to honor the Lord means we must be visible at all times to all we meet as one of His own. “No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.” (Luke 8:16)
We are entering into a time on this planet that goes far beyond the term “unrest,” those who are servants of the Most High have nothing to fear, but the lost do, and they will look for comfort beyond the temporary soon. For any church that locked their doors in the time of need, for any leader of that congregation to not trust in the protection and provision of the Lord, soon you will not need to be concerned with these decisions, there will be no church building to attend, not unless all the proper documentation has been filled out and is in order, not unless you receive permission first. Police officers, military personnel and a host of other governmental services follow the laws they are given, the lawmakers are to represent the will of the people, the people they are supposedly serving, the laws that those they serve have desired to be set in place.
We as followers of Christ are to obey those in authority over us, (Romans 13:1) but we are also to be wise as serpents. Just because the Roman Catholic Religious leader now says that it is acceptable for homosexual couples to live in civil union does not mean that it is right in the sight of God, it is still sodomy and open rebellion, God does not change. (Malachi 3:6) Because certain nations have laws in place that permit sex with children, allow for certain freedoms in drug and alcohol use does not mean that God has all of a sudden changed His mind and made these things permissible. We fight against spiritual darkness in high places, that means that at certain times we are fighting against those who are in authority over us.
Those who are easily deceived are easily led, the mask mandates are a prime example of this, and soon, all those who profess Christ only with their lips (Matt. 15:8) will be not asked but required to adhere to the newest mandates and laws that will be offered up for the so-called benefit and security of all of us. The age of man is approaching, and it will last almost seven years, about the time it takes in the kingdom of God for a marriage feast to occur.
For those who do not have spiritual discernment, these days that are approaching will seem quite normal, in fact they will be welcomed, but we see them for how they are, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” (Matt. 24:24) The elect have been given eyes to see and ears to hear, but are using their mouth to speak, are they using every possible outlet to warn and reach the lost, or are many of them still just attending church occasionally, going through the motions of worship, seeking those things of the world and the supposed security it offers, fleeing from the battle at hand. “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” (Rev. 12:11)
If you are concerned for the safety of your family, give them over to the Lord, if you are concerned with your own personal safety, memorize Philippians 1:21 “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” If you are fearful to speak of the One who is providing the way of escape from the wrath to come, of the evil that is increasing exponentially, if you are fearful of spiritual darkness in high places, of the rules and regulations that will come against the children of the Most High, then put your armor on and keep it on, (Eph. 6:11) but stop following the blind, (Matt. 15:14) and start being a man of God. Prepare to face the possible persecution to come, or face the possibility that when you stand in His presence He will be ashamed of you. I do not know how long that shame will be carried by these individuals, (1st John 2:28) but I do know that one moment is far too long to bear.
Look at yourself, look at the walk you say you have with Christ, who is leading who, who is walking with intent towards the kingdom, who is prepared to not love their life unto the end. There is no “stand or get out of the way” anymore, the days of “stand or fall” are here.
