Borrowed Truths

There are many reasons for this website, but first and foremost it exist to glorify God, to “exalt His name above the heavens” (Psalm 108:5). It is by Him alone that we have our existence, and it is by His Grace alone that we have been called into fellowship with His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

Secondly, it is so the child of God would be “filled with the knowledge of the will of God in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.” (Col. 1:9) This can only occur by the power of the Holy Spirit working in the life of the believer.

Thirdly, the Borrowed Truths website is directed toward believers who are entrusting God to help them to become obedient, effectual and profitable servants. In great humility and with much mistrust in the ability of the writer are the words penned that you will read here, a reliance on the Word of God and submission to His guidance each day are the driving force behind every sentence, every word. It is by His great mercies only that the website exist.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
