Do Not Waste It

“And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.” (Romans 13:11)

I fear time may almost be up, a joy for those who serve Jesus Christ as Lord, but a burden upon us at the same time. Less time to reach the lost, less time to use the words of the Word of God to call as many as we can. There is a sense of urgency that permeates almost every day now, and I do not think one needs to view any social media site or news broadcast to feel it, it has been experienced by us for quite some time now.

Fear and dread is the way of Satan’s world, those he would enslave to his ideology are never coerced with love, but through the shackles of doubt and deceit. Sin is rampant in nearly every form and I believe 2 Thessalonians 2:3 is the main reason, “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.”

The Almighty is not speaking from Mount Horeb, He is not making His thunderous voice audible in the storms, but in the still small voice, our voices, those who hearts are set upon reaching all that will listen. The days of Jacob’s Troubles are approaching, those who will be left behind will see horrors unspeakable, death will be as the common cold, they will face the wrath of God and the atrocities of the antichrist, the false prophet and the beast, they will know very little rest from trials and tribulations.

We stand, as it were, on the precipice of hell, and every born-again believer should hear and apply the words of Charles Spurgeon here, “If they are in a hurry to go to hell, let them walk over our dead bodies to get there.” We are the only line of defense left, even the best part, if it could ever be called that, of the morality of mankind is fading fast.

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20) “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:14)

We have been sent to accomplish a task, not to hide behind the doors and walls of a church building, we have been called to give the message of the hope of salvation through the only means possible for a man to escape the fires of eternal damnation, Jesus Christ.

Part of being a watchman on the wall is to warn all who will heed the call, we do so in love, but with firm truth. We would not have been placed on that wall if there was no danger approaching, and my friends, that danger is on the way. The hand of God is being removed, the hedges are being lowered, and Satan can see that quite clearly. We are still here, we are the only hindrance to a full out frontal assault on all of mankind, it is the Holy Spirit that works in us for the glory of God, and God is gloried when His people act.

Without fear, without hesitation or trepidation, acting and speaking in the knowledge of truth towards these evil days.

If you are not acting against unrighteousness, if you are not speaking up when you see that which should not be, that which is abhorrent in the eyes of God, and you truly have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, then on your day of accounting, you will have some very serious explaining to do. “But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.” (Luke 12:48)

The Almighty does not take kindly to those who have been commanded to obey, yet do not, to those who disobey because of fear, because of the possibility of personal repercussions.

Our Lord prayed, “O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.” (Matt. 26:39) And then He got up and walked to the cross, willingly, for the glory of God.

We are the last line of defense before the rapture, after we are gone those who will be called specifically by the Lord, the 144,000 will know no fear, those who will not love their lives to the end will know fear, but they will still act, they will still speak. I offer no dates, I will not be so foolish as to sin against the Lord in that way, but you know as well as I do, our time to serve here is almost over. Don’t waste it.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
