Wrath, Vengeance, Mercy

“But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.” (Gen. 50:20)

The long, quiet trip from the land of Canaan, the heart-wrenching moment when Jacob grasped his long thought dead son in his arms, the move to the land of Goshen, and then a moment in time that is not recorded for us, that day when Israel called ten of his sons to his tent, and asked them, “Why did you do that?”

You may envision that meeting if you care to, I have many times in my mind, but that is where I will leave it, those thoughts will not flow from my pen.

I am sure you have noticed lately the incredible amount of conjecture happening across the planet, not truth, not even a close semblance of it, but nothing less than hearsay, stated as facts, as truth. From the ever growing extraterrestrial “evidence,” to the supposed “truth” of climate change, the elites preparing to take over the world for their own benefit to any other number of conjectures. Fear is the key for these items, and obedience, whether it be from fear or voluntarily is the end goal.

These who are purporting this evil my friends do not care if you are a Christian, a Muslim, an agnostic or a simple man of the field with no beliefs of any sort, obedience is the goal, and no matter how it is attained these we speak of thirst mightily for it.

“Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” (Prov. 16:18)

Whether we can see it or not, the Almighty will use these things for good, for His glory. He is not amazed or astounded at any of the actions of mankind, in fact, it is expected. Moses knew the people would rebel after he died, Joshua said the same, every prophet sent by the Lord knew what would happen when they were removed from the scene.

“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?” (Psalm 2:1) Because rebellion against the Almighty is in their heart, and also the knowledge that they will eventually fail, either in this life or by their death.

Those ten sons kept a secret between themselves for many years, they had no idea that a famine would cause them to have to face their father Jacob with the truth. The people that are causing all the uproar on this planet, those people who either are in themselves or being controlled by the powers of Spiritual darkness in high places fear only one thing, that the truth will be revealed.

Nearly every television station and social media outlet is controlled through them by Satan, and he who was a liar from the beginning knows exactly what he is doing. But he also knows his end. “And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?” (Matt. 8:29)

We who have been born-again are the truth-bearers, we are the responsible party, and here you have two choices, two verses to choose from.

“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” (Phil. 1:21)

Or

“Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.” (Job 2:4)

We cannot stop the lies, but we can stand in the way of them with the truth, we cannot stop what is approaching, the judgement of God has fallen, soon His wrath will be revealed. All that we are seeing in the world today is our adversary preparing the lies, preparing people’s hearts to accept them as truth when the Tribulation period begins.

Wrath and vengeance are coming, along with great mercy towards those that will call upon the name of the Lord in those days.

Perhaps great anger and great mercy is what those ten sons heard.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
