With Evil Intent

While we who love the Lord do all that we can to not dishonor the Lord even with our thoughts, the wicked give Him not even one moment of theirs.

While we seek ways to glorify His Holy name, the wicked seek selfish vainglory, continuously pursuing the things of the world.

“There is no fear of God before their eyes.” (Romans 3:18)

That verse has always amazed me, and the closer He draws me to Himself, the more humble in the revelation of it I ask Him to make me. “He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.” (Psalm 18:11)

It is one thing to not give any consideration whatsoever to the Almighty, to live one’s life as if He does not exist, it is quite another to do so in complete contempt of Him. Satan knows full well the existence and eternal power of the Living God, and one of his greatest goals is to attempt to dissuade people from acknowledging this truth, and if he at the same time can persuade mankind to believe that he also is nothing more than a fairy tale, an imagination of fools, all the better.

His latest employment in this area is being called climate change, and while the simple minded are being deceived, do not fool yourselves, there are those in the highest positions of authority on this planet, those powers of Spiritual darkness in high places know exactly what they are doing and why. Those who do not fear God, not those who do not believe in His existence, are the puppets of our adversary, those who hate Him and are foolish enough to believe they can stand against His will.

To those people, my friends, temporary power is better than no power whatsoever. To be a ruler is better than being a servant, yet they either do not believe or have been completely deceived as to their final end. “And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?” (Matt. 8:29)

The devils know, Satan knows, there is no doubt in their minds, they can never return to their first estate, but there are wicked men today, and many more residing in the torment of hell right now that do not care, they would rather burn than serve. That is the depth of pride. “And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:” (Rev. 6:16)

Satan knows he will never sit in the sides of the north, there are people who know they will never enter into the Kingdom of the Living God, and they do not care. They do not show love, they do not offer compassion, they care for nothing but power here and more of it daily. These know the truth and have willingly denied it, these are they who will gnash their teeth, cursing the name of the Almighty for all eternity.

“And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.” (Matt. 23:12)

Those we wrestle against are just as adamant about their hatred of the Most High as we are in our love towards Him, they will be humbled, but they will not repent, they will be cast alive into the Lake of Fire, and they will curse His name as they fall. Satan grants much power to these individuals, for hatred is a strong motivator indeed, these my friends are not deceived, they know exactly what they are doing.

There were those in the crowd that day when our Lord went to the cross who knew who He was, who believed every word He said about why He had come, and they hated Him for it.

While we try to keep even our thoughts from dishonoring Him.
