When The Money Is Gone

In the nation I live in, we are being lied to about many things, but I suppose as it is in many nations, the main lie revolves around the truth of 1st Timothy 6:10.

“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.”

In most nations many have become accustomed to either simply going to the marketplace to get what they want or need, or going online to purchase the items they desire. When a siege is brought upon a nation or kingdom by an opposing force, the ability to not obtain what they have taken for granted for so long is usually the first step in the attack.

“And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.” (Luke 17:26)

One hundred twenty years of warnings, we, my friends, have had over two thousand years.

The father of lies wants people to believe that these days of extremely high costs will eventually normalize, that things will get back to normal, while at the same time allowing despair to creep into the consciousness of mankind. And all of this revolves around the love of money, for without it not only can the average person not obtain their wants, but soon they will realize that many of their needs are now inaccessible.

“But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.” (Luke 4:26)

If you have realized the lies, then you are Spiritually discerning enough to see the truths of what is approaching, so the question for you is this, how are you preparing today? Are you stockpiling for your family and those who depend upon you, purchasing those needed items that will last for a specific amount of time? Or are you praying that, in a fashion, the Almighty makes sure that the cruse will never fail?

Should we do both?

“I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” (Psalm 37:25)

I like to think this, although I have no verifiable Scriptural reference for it, but I do not believe that anyone who has been born-again has ever starved to death. Death has arrived for us in many forms, and always at the time set by the Almighty for each of us, but I do not know if it ever arrived because of a lack of provisions for our flesh in this regard.

When the money runs out, what are your plans?

I can tell you what plans Satan has in store for many in the approaching days, obedience. Obey and you will receive what you suppose you need, and I do not reference the mark here, but those needs that may arrive while we are still in the beginnings of sorrows.

Faith in the promises must take precedence over any possible despair.

“For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?” (Romans 8:24)

I see no reason to disbelieve that as the darkness grows and we approach the end of these times of grace that miracles will be experienced by many who serve the Living God. Not major, earth-shattering miracles, but those that are similar in nature to the cruse of grain and oil that did not fail. Personal miracles to let us know that we have not been forgotten, that we are loved with an eternal love.

I cannot say how or when, but I can say why.

“And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.” (Deut. 31:8)

And we who have been hid in Christ, how are we to live in these days of blatant lies, when many seem to be concerned with how long the money will last?

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4)

Our faith is to be unwavering; our hope will never diminish. Believe in the promises, do not trust yourself, trust in Christ, let the Holy Spirit do His work through you.

We expected these days, we were placed in them for a reason. Be the example for those who will be left behind.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
