When the Blind Lead

What the mainstream media broadcasts is what those who say we should not it believe speak about, and I’m not sure the people that are doing so even realize it.

It reminds me of animals on a leash who do not even know they are tethered.  “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” (Matt. 15:14)

It is difficult to do sometimes, to see the brute beasts being led around by others of the same nature and to not say anything to them, for then we may become as they are. By default, the born-again believer wants to help those that are blind, we desire that they will see the truth, and I have wondered if any of those that were sitting with the Lord when He said those words wondered the same thing, shouldn’t we try to help them?

A verse comes to my mind as I contemplate these words, “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.” (Romans 1:28) They are heading for a ditch, they are blind so they cannot see it, and we are to leave them alone. It goes against our nature, for our nature is not just to help, but to assist in any way we can those who do not see the truth of what is going to happen to them. So, we must ask this question, are we going against the Word of the Lord when we attempt to tell those of the truth of these days, of the lies they are believing?

As they ran to put their masks on, as they stood in long lines to roll their sleeves up, taking their test kits everywhere with them, or did you join them?

I have mentioned this before and it is worth repeating, when does our common sense begin to override our faith in Christ? And I will add this to it, is it a sin to do so?

It is a fact, and admittedly so, fear was the driving force behind their so-called pandemic, and many fell headlong into it, and one of the reasons was because they were coerced into it. The media portrayed this supposed flu in a light that was inconceivable to mankind, millions upon millions were going to die. When did those who truly serve Christ start to believe in “Better safe than sorry?” Here it is, two plus years later, and the same media sites speak little to nothing of those days, for the next great diversion has occurred, and what are the majority of people discussing today? That which they have been instructed to pay attention to.

Many have been led astray, the world and what it says is important is all that is important today, they are as sheep following the wrong shepherd.

If you were to look back on some of these short letters you would find this same subject matter covered in the same manner, incredulous would be the remarks towards this fact, that many will follow what they have been told to follow. Wear the mask, social distance, take the injection, do what you have been asked to do, and everything will be alright. Wasn’t it alright before? Doesn’t Psalm 91:10 promise that no evil will befall you? That no plague will come near your door? That “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

Many who claim Jesus Christ as Lord have had their faith not tested in the last two years or so, but revealed to them, and they have been found wanting. It is one thing to sing the songs on Sunday morning, it is quite another to do so with yellow tape restricting the available seating and attempting to sing through that mask, praying that the CDC will lift the mandates.

Well, for the most part they have, and now you have been told to fear a possible nuclear war. The blind leading the blind is one thing, brute beasts leading the children of the Most High God is not just unthinkable to me, it is disgusting.

“And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?” (Mark 4:39-40)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)
