Suppression is not a word that is enjoyed by many, only those who have determined to use it as a course of action against others, those with an agenda. Across the planet suppression is being used in such a way as never witnessed before, they like to label it the “woke society,” for some reason individuals, especially those who are attempting to express a particular point of view have always needed a flag, a moniker, something to put at the top of the first page of their great thesis.
Suppression is the exertion of the will of either one person or a group of individuals upon an opposing group, it is also a convenient way, when possible, to make one side of any particular subject the only one available. It is deception, it is the attempt to end debate on any subject by not allowing that debate to begin. Samuel tried to tell the people what a king would do to their existence, (1 Sam. 8:10-17) but they would not listen, kings have given way to what I loosely call a democratic system across the planet, and those who would become our kings have decided to end that system, and one of their greatest tools is suppression.
There are two lines of thought when all truth is withheld from an individual, “What you don’t know cannot harm you,” and “What you don’t know can kill you.” The vehicles have changed, newspapers, then radio and television, and now social media, specifically the internet, but only so much information can be placed into the publics view, and someone, somewhere owns the capability to release that information. Those who own the satellites and main servers are those who make that decision, and they have begun to decide that only one side is necessary, thus suppression of information becomes one of the essential tools to the conquest of the ideas they seek.
Nearly every evil ruler throughout all of history has employed this technique, those who speak against what they want the masses to hear, to obey, are silenced in whatever form is necessary, but there is not one nation that is seeking for ultimate power this time, the statue in Daniel’s dream speaks of ten kings, ten that will rule, under one. (Dan. 2:42)
Suppression is deceit, it is the attempt to sway by not misinformation, but by withholding information, and it is most generally the last advance an enemy will make before attacking in full force. If one does not know the enemy is approaching, one will not prepare for that enemy. To the point then.
When a store owner informs you that you are not allowed to enter his business establishment without a mask on today, that is his right, it is his store, and he may exercise all authority in it that he so chooses, when a governmental agency tells you that no entrance is allowed unless you have proof of the vaccination, then that government is attempting to force their ideas upon all individuals within their territorial domain, when the owners of the equipment that enable information to be broadcast over the internet or other means of communication begin to suppress information that is against what they want the public to hear, that is also their right.
There is no difference between the no vaccine, no entrance policy of the small market down the street and the owner of the largest information technology corporation on the planet, and the point? Wisdom, spiritual discernment, the ability to discern between good and evil.
Your cause my friend is not to attempt to stop this new “woke” ideology, your cause is not to complain (Phil. 2:14) about all the evil that is covering this world through suppression, not to demand that all information should be free to all, that the right to speak openly about any subject should be the right of all, your cause is Christ. “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11)
The children of God, the servants of the Lord Jesus have always spoken the only truth there is, they have always suffered for it, it is the one constant in this world, it does not change when nations rise and fall, it does not change when good men die and evil men take their place, it is never modified, the whims and desires of any past, present, or future human leader will not change the truth that we speak of to all that will listen. Tearing down statues, rewriting laws, placing lies for all to hear, restricting access to information, nothing has, and nothing ever will stop what God has sent us to do, speak the truth.
You have one main concern, glorify God, not concern yourself inordinately with the path that the world is on, we have read the Book, we know its end. There has always been one continuous group of individuals who have well known the meaning of the word suppression, the one group that the world has hated since basically day one, those whose lives are dedicated to the Lord God. Don’t get caught up in the trap, help others where you can to see it for themselves, but you stay on the path, you preach truth, you preach Christ. “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair.” (2 Cor. 4:8)
