What Is, and What Will Be

What is, and what will be. Only those who have truly been born-again understand these words, we know this world is under a curse, we know the heart of man is only evil continuously, we know the wrath of God abides on the wicked and that His love is poured out upon those who have trusted in the shed blood of His Son the Lord Jesus Christ alone for the salvation of their soul. Only we know, without a shadow of a doubt what will be.

“Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (1st Thess. 4:18)

To those of you who are overly concerned with the Rapture, whose main focus is on all the signs that may indeed be and those that are only perceived by you as such, I ask this question. Why? Have you forgotten what will be, or is your main concern what is?

If you have indeed been saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, I ask you another question, have you lost the zeal to serve the Almighty? Is your life now consumed by a singular moment in time, and that sadly for selfish reasons? Are there no more lost sheep to search for? Have the warnings you are offering changed from eternal damnation for those who will not repent to that of a singular, seven-year period of time? Are you so consumed with Luke 21:28, “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” that you are walking right past the lost?

What is should be our concern, but not in the temporal, evil has always been my friends. The depth of it ebbs and flows like the tide, depending on the allowance of the Holy Spirit, our main concern is not to be what is, but what will be, and you know for a fact what eternity awaits those who refuse to repent.

Do you believe that anyone in hell right now is concerned with the Rapture, with the approaching depth of evil, with the Tribulation time?

“And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.” (Luke 16:23)

Those there today want those here today to warn those they love here about where they are right now, about the only One that can keep them from that place of torment and hopelessness.

If you are focusing on the Rapture, you are not focusing on seeking the lost, if you are warning only of the coming days of Jacob’s Troubles, you are not warning of an eternity in the Lake of Fire.

Those who are in a hurry to leave have lost, at least in part, the love they are to have for their neighbor, they have faltered in the battle and are not working as they should, they have become weary in the work. Fear, personal fear, is overriding what will be, and is focusing on what is.

A few decades at best, for some perhaps an entire century plus a year or two, that is all the Lord asks of you.

Far too many have tired of running the race, they have begun to seek only for escape from the battle, they have lost the desire to continue as ambassadors of the Kingdom of the Almighty, as willing servants in what is.

There is a verse that many of these this poorly written letter describes, and I fear these are balancing on the precipice of. “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” (Matt. 24:12)

How much colder can a heart get than one that has decided to seek only its own desires than that of the Lords? How selfish is it to want to leave the battle when it is raging at its fiercest?

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
