Ultimate Pain

Nations have them, high ranking governmental officials, large major corporations employ them, they are kept around, if you will, for when they are needed, the kindest name for them might be “persuaders,” but most generally they are known as intentional pain givers, those who enjoy inflicting pain upon others.

We like to think that they are heartless and cruel, without a conscience, but in the most part, they have just determined that they do not care, they are able to abate their compassion. They are used by many, employed if you like, to force the will of those who have employed them upon others for a particular reason, the reason is immaterial, it is after all only temporary and has no eternal effect, but it makes a point worth noting here, and caution must be employed in this letter to you, for we will speak of the One who knows and understands how to bring the greatest pain upon men.

If I am any judge of the character and thoughts of humans, your mind just went to our adversary Satan, and while I cannot determine whether or not he enjoys inflicting pain of all sorts, I do not speak of him, but of the Lord God. “Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” (Heb. 10:38)

Here is a verse for you to contemplate, the One who said, “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself,” (Matt. 22:39) also says in Psalm 50:22, “Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.” And again, in Jeremiah 13:14, “And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together, saith the LORD: I will not pity, nor spare, nor have mercy, but destroy them.”

The Lord our God who loves us with an eternal love that we cannot comprehend has prepared not only hell itself, but a lake of fire, so that pain in the extreme, so that suffering beyond what any man can imagine will be upon those who have denied His gift of love through His Son Jesus Christ, so that they will never know rest ever again, but instead will scream in anguish, will instead know complete and utter hopelessness without end. And today’s “modern church” just wants to preach love and forgiveness, the average Christian says we should never judge, that we should never offend, that it is just not right to tell people that are living in sin, that have decided to deny and even spit upon His greatest gift, nothing more than that Jesus loves them.

God Almighty has shown His wrath and fury upon many souls since He made this planet, they listen for a while, and then they repent, because they don’t want to get hurt anymore, but because they easily forget, they go right back to what they were doing, generation after generation, century after century. And today? It’s not God, its climate change, it’s not evil, it’s just misunderstood souls, it’s not against the will and Word of God, it’s social justice.

The Lord is going to take those men who enjoy inflicting pain, those that hired them to do so, and that nice old grandmother down the street from you and burn them alive forever. All who will not accept Jesus Christ as Lord are going to suffer beyond anything that you or I can ever imagine, and that suffering will never end.

When was the last time you told someone that, ever? Are you still out there spending your last breath, hoping that by behaving like a “Christian” is supposed to behave that they will listen, being nice and polite and kind? “And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.” (Jude 1:23) That can be done in love, but it cannot be accomplished without truth.

If you do not care enough about those that you are witnessing to, to tell them this truth, then what is the point of speaking to them, what are your plans, just to keep loving them? If you do not love them enough to tell them the truth of what has just been mentioned here, then you have not learned to love your neighbor as you should.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)
