Twisted Truths

The more certain people hear words repeated, the more they tend to believe what they have heard. It is called in society today misinformation, but those in whom the Holy Spirit resides know it for what it is, lies.

“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” (John 8:44)

This world, in an analogy easy to understand, is on lease to Satan, but his lease is coming to an end and it will not be renewed, at least not until toward the end of the Millennial Period. His prime objective is not the destruction of souls, not even so much as to keep them from the knowledge of the Living God, but to defame the name of the Most High in every way possible, and words, lies that twist the truths of the Scriptures are his most efficient weapon.

“Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.” (Eze. 28:15)

Exactly how our adversary does this is unclear to us, some like to say he whispers in the ears of mankind, others by placing the things of this world in front of us as a temptation, in any case, what he does he is the best at doing and lies are easier to believe than the truth many times.

I will offer you my own personal opinion here, complete conjecture, not recorded in the Scriptures for us, but nevertheless it is an excellent example. The Almighty told Adam that in the day he ate of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil that he would die, when Adam harkened to the voice of his wife she may have said, “Look, I am not dead.”

A half-truth, a white lie is still a lie my friends, and Satan is proficient at twisting the Word of God. It is the main, if not sole purpose, of his existence.

“Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?” (1st Kings 3:9)

Recall what was written earlier here in this short letter to you, that words repeated many times will cause some people to believe them, and then contemplate this. If you repeat this verse over and over, over much time to someone, why will it still not be believed?

“And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” (Acts 16:31)

 Because of this truth.

“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:44)

Most people are those seeds that fell on the path, on the rocks or in places where the weeds have choked them out, because in some way they have decided to believe the lies. What one must consider, and I fear there is no answer to this question, would it be possible for a person to reject the truths of the Word of God without the influence of Satan, would Adam have sinned if Satan had not been allowed into the Garden of Eden?

The question does not need to be answered if you will believe the truth of Romans 14:12.

“So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”

It does not and will not matter how many lies our adversary places before us, each of us will be held personally accountable for every action, word or deed we do in this life. You are held accountable for you.

There is only one piece in our armor that is meant to be used as a weapon of offense and defense, the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God. If you do not study to show yourself approved, if you do not pray, and that fervently, for your Father in heaven to reveal His truths to you, you will become susceptible to the lies of Satan.

Tens of thousands of religious organizations attest to this truth.

Satan has one purpose, to defame the name of the Living God anyway he can. The path to that strait gate my friends is narrower than you might think.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
