Their Choices

“In your patience possess ye your souls.” (Luke 21:19) Patience, when we look at the way the world is going at the moment, is not what needs to occur, for our soul, yes but if we do not speak up, we have another problem, a much larger one. “Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.” (James 4:17)

We are to stand against unrighteousness, against evil, we are to speak up, it is the “good thing” that in part this verse speaks of. But instead, among many in the Christian community, the voices are silent, for fear, fear of personal repercussions. My friends, I do not know if you are aware of this, but we have brothers and sisters who are being tortured, imprisoned and killed every day. Some are only carrying a Bible, some just a page from one, their cell phones are monitored, their faces captured on closed circuit cameras, they speak the name of Jesus, and they suffer.

Everyone has the choice to be what they want to be, even if it is only in their mind, even if it is a lie, we have no right to attempt to try to hinder them, until they attempt to force their belief structures upon us. Then we must stand, those of you who desire to be like Christ, to have the mind of Christ, do you stop when the Pharisees begin to speak, do you do more than voice your opinion when the forces of evil, for that is what they are, begin to attempt to force you into their ideologies of what is now to be considered right and considered wrong. You must always remember, “He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.” (Prov. 9:7)

They have the right to live in sin, no matter what form that sin takes, everyone of us has been blessed by the Lord with free will, the choice to choose the direction of our lives. They are our enemies, and we have been commanded to love them, (Matt. 5:44) but we have also been commanded to hate evil. (Prov. 8:13)

Recall Daniel’s three friends, Meshach, Abednego and Shadrach when they were told to bow, they refused, they did not try to change Nebuchadnezzar’s mind, they did not hold up protest signs, they did not form a committee of like-minded individuals. They submitted to the will of God by standing when the issue was placed before them. If everyone else wanted to bow, let them bow, they stood.

It takes very little for those who have been blessed with spiritual discernment to see that the world has entered into the stage, the time if you like, of blatant sin, of open rebellion against God, of sinful immorality, the world is becoming the valley of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the world will be punished.

I know that the children of Israel were in bondage for four hundred years, I do not know how long the Lord gave Sodom and Gomorrah. I know that, “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually,” (Gen. 6:5) before He destroyed all that drew breath. I know that Noah witnessed for 120 years, but I do not know how much longer the Lord will tolerate what is happening on this world-wide scale.

Every prophet of God warned of the wrath of God to come, and the reason for it, in their age. We are not prophets, but we are to warn. Here is the choice that is set before you, the decision is yours, as it always has been. “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.” (John 15:18) Only those who are heavenly minded are of any earthly good, you do not want to be the one that does no good when the evil approaches.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
