The Word of God

The Word of God that you own is the only words that God has decided to write down for us, if anyone tells you that they have received a new revelation from the Lord, they are lying.

These are not just some words that the Lord spent around 1500 years preparing for us, and then said, “Here, live by these,” they are alive, they will always be, they will never be altered or changed, and as far as we have been told, there will never be a “Third Testament.” “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” (Matt. 24:35) Satan knows this, and so he whispers in the ears, if you will, of people on this planet who do not believe in what was just written here, to modify them, just a little. It is why I am so adamant when I speak to people about His Word and staying in context, entire religious organizations have begun and still thrive because a verse was taken out here, modified there, and even in some of what could be considered “better” Bibles, you can read at the bottom of the page a note by those who published that Bible that reads, “This verse is not in the better manuscripts.” Very handy if you want to deceive people.

Since the day that the Lord was merciful to me and called me to Himself, I have always used an Authorized King James Bible, and almost immediately I asked Him to show me His truths in it. I have studied and done much research into the “other” manuscripts and different Bibles, but have never seen a need, or been called to toss out, what I and millions upon millions of others consider the inerrant Word of God. One does not need to be a scholarly theologian to see this truth, God Himself will reveal it to you if you but ask. “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Heb. 4:12)

When some of the key verses are watered down, modified, or simply removed, then it becomes nothing more than a fanciful collection of stories, a “how-to” book, and not the living, eternal Word of God. “Thy word is truth,” (John 17:17) and that word sanctifies us, which is no more of an instantaneous moment than the Word of God is a finished book in the sense of our growth. No one reads thru the Scriptures, front to back, and then says, “There, now I am sanctified.” If you understand this, then you understand that every single time that you pick up His Word, which should be every day, then you find something new, something that strengthens your faith, that gives you courage, that lifts you further away from this evil place and closer to the presence of God.

To the regenerated man, the Holy Spirit’s presence is in every single Book of the Scriptures, leading us on the right paths, showing us truth, “He will guide you into all truth.” (John 16:13) “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” (James 4:8) The most intimate moments in your life that you will ever have will not be with your spouse that you love as life itself, not with your children or grandchildren, but in those moments in the Word of God when you realize that He is speaking directly to you, when you realize that those pages are not filled with history lessons, not with commandments that are to be obeyed, not only with an eternal love for all that will hear, but with the living, breathing eternal words of the Most High God, without them we could not serve in love to the One who gave them, we would never know of the sacrifice that was given for us.

They are not the most precious thing in our life, Jesus Christ is, but if there is a close second, then you have missed the point entirely. “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14)

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
