“Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.” (Prov. 5:5)
It never ceases to amaze me in these days when the sodomites seem to be free to roam the streets of what is called the western world, but when a government official or leader of a large corporation is caught in some form of sex scandal, that the, what I have termed “sex card” is brought out and they are forced to resign.
Those who Romans 1:32 speaks of, “Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” have placed the followers of those the Lord destroyed in the valley of Sodom and Gomorrah under the umbrella of the “Pride movement,” and have assisted them even in creating their own banner, a rainbow hued flag.
“And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.” (Acts 23:11)
While the tempest threatened to destroy the ship and all souls aboard for fourteen days, Paul rested assured in the promise of the Lord, all on board the vessel would be spared, and he would go to Rome.
There is much ado about these sodomites amongst those who have been born-again these days, they are detestable in the sight of the Almighty, and so should be in our eyes, yet there seems to be a fear amongst those who sit in the pews of speaking up against this great sin, a fear in those who proclaim that they have been promised that they will reach the safe haven of heaven.
“Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.” (Eze. 3:20)
“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.” (James 4:17)
But good these days for some seems to mean not offending those under that umbrella, not speaking to them about the fires of hell that await them. Do you think the Most High will allow them to go unscathed? Do you not believe that the fire and brimstone that fell upon that valley was for an example, that His wrath will indeed fall upon all who commit such grievous sins?
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Gal. 6:7)
Abraham saw the smoke of His wrath ascend out of that valley, if you live in a nation where this revulsion in the sight of the Lord is occurring, I offer you these words, prepare yourselves accordingly. The fire and brimstone, as well as the rain, falls on the just and the unjust.
Paul slept soundly for every one of those fourteen nights while all those in the ship with him feared for their lives, we are to do the same. You are under the umbrella of grace, but that does not mean that your flesh will survive what is approaching, you must accept this truth.
It seems unlikely that in that entire valley anyone survived, only three were spared. It may be that the Rapture will happen just before the Lord begins to move against those who have rebelled against Him, that is not our concern. If you have been born-again you will stand in the presence of the Living God, hid in Christ, but we may witness firsthand at least a part of His wrath first.
Lot tried to warn them as he sat in the gate. “And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.” (Gen. 19:9)
We are to do the same. While they rebel, we are to warn, while they corrupt themselves, we are to offer the truth, that their lives, not just their actions, are in great peril of eternal damnation.
The powers of Spiritual darkness in high places has deceived them into believing that the flag of “Pride” is honorable and just, that it will free them of the bondage of their inhibitions. The truths of the Word of God are the only thing that will reach them.
Use it wisely, and in love.
