The Threshing Floor

“Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” (Matt. 3:12)

I will offer you some known facts about what is called winnowing grain, specifically wheat. It must be dry, it must be a very dry day when it is done, and it must be windy.

Remember what Elijah said? “Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men.” (1st Kings 18:22) And the Lord told him that he had reserved seven thousand to Himself.

In these dark days, perhaps days that are leading up closer to the darkest of days for those who will be left behind, if you have been blessed with truth, with wisdom, Spiritual discernment and the ability to discern between good and evil, you may feel at times as if you are one of the last ones left to be so. And you may be right. With more than eight billion people on the planet one can presume that there are more than seven thousand who have been born-again, but only the Almighty knows the exact number.

There is one other fact that you must be aware of when it comes to the threshing floor, the wheat must be tossed into the air many times. Are you starting to comprehend the analogy here my brothers and sisters in Christ? A dry, windy day is upon us, and the wheat will be tossed many times before they are separated from the chaff.

The supposed pandemic was one of the first tossing’s in our day, and it was shown quite clearly to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear just how much chaff is out there.

“This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.” (Matt. 15:8)

But, on what I will call a world-wide scale, things have settled down, so to speak, have they not?

Many Christian content producers have gone back to those days, producing what can loosely be called documentaries, others produce little more than content revealing how wicked the wicked are behaving. Conviction on a personal level is almost non-existent anymore.

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:3)

How else can someone repent unless they are convicted in their heart that they are a vile sinner in the eyes of the Almighty, that His wrath abides on them, that no works they perform will avail them anything towards their salvation. That the truth is found in Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Remember what was written here about the wheat needing to be tossed into the air many times before all the chaff is removed? Are you prepared for what is next?

Wisdom offers these truths, “For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” (1st Tim. 6:10)  Perhaps a complete worldwide economic crash.

“And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.” (Job 2:4) Perhaps another agent released amongst the public, this one actually dangerous to many.

“For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.” (Matt. 24:7) Perhaps a well-designed short thermonuclear war, causing every nation on earth to declare Marshal Law.

What is approaching cannot be stopped. The judgement of God has arrived, His wrath will fall. The question is will you?

How sure are you that you are the wheat, how positive are you that you can withstand the strong winds that are approaching, the tossing up and down of your emotions, perhaps all you possess, perhaps even to the loss of your life, for His glory?

The Almighty is at the threshing floor my friends, prepare yourselves accordingly.

“For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.” (2nd Tim 1:12)

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
