The Reason

I do not know if you have noticed it or not, but the world is, as it is called, falling apart. Not only in a financial and thereby materialistic fashion, not only in the sense of what is considered law and order, along with the moral constructs that law and order was intended to inhibit, but in a spiritual manner. And by that I not only mean those who are spiritual in their outlook towards themselves, but those who profess faith in God.

And that is the key, my friends, for decades, and perhaps longer, the question posed has almost always been “Do you believe in God?” and those who consider themselves spiritual have always replied in the affirmative. What God though has never, or very rarely, been defined by those asking the question, and so that has left those who consider themselves spiritual, those who believe in some form of higher power of their own design and imagination the ability to remain in what they consider a moral high ground.

Not above others, but for their own benefit only.

“I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:” (Isaiah 45:5)

The decay of civilization is not only occurring across a singular nation, but across the planet, and it begins not with the destruction of the family, but in the denial of the Living God as Sovereign over His creation.

“Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.” (Romans 1:21)

To find the cause of any matter one must see the foundation on which it is built, and the way of this world has always been built on a foundation of sand. The fear of the Lord is reverential trust in His Holy name and a hatred of evil. That trust is all but gone, only those who have been born-again serve the Lord. The hatred of evil has been inversed, good is now considered evil, and that which we know as evil is being called good by those in the world who have forgotten that there is a God who reigns supreme in both heaven and earth.

These types of letters from me to you happen rarely, although sometimes running more often than others, for it is not what I have been called to write. If you desire to see the way mankind is going there are untold videos and websites dedicated to the fall of mankind, bad news travels fast and receives tens of thousands if not more views. The Living God is not glorified in the bad news stories and accounts, and far too many who profess to serve Him have been led astray by sometimes well-intentioned individuals who believe that bad news is the next new sign, that the crisis at hand is vitally important, that portents of doom will draw others to the Savior.

“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” (2nd Tim. 3:13)

I contend that the majority, the overwhelming majority of people, will say “Yes, I do,” when asked if they believe in God, and that is why the question you need to ask from now on is, “Who do you say Jesus Christ is?”

The Lord has called me to reach out to those who profess Him with their lips only, those who say they believe in God, but do not live their lives for His glory. The Lord Jesus Christ rarely enters into their minds as they go about their daily business, He is not the reason for their existence.

I pray you are not one of these people.

The world is not falling apart, it is being coalesced by the evil one, the hearts of many are growing cold, because they are not looking to Christ.

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Heb. 12:2)

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
