The Reason for Debate

Debate causes many things, but the one that stands above all of them is its ability, or desire, to ask questions, and questions are how we find out what truth is. Satan has known this since that fateful day in the garden, the purpose of the question “Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” (Gen. 3:1) was to cause doubt in Eve, which in turn began a debate within her mind, and when the mind has two or more options, debate over those options is the natural conclusion.

Debate causes us, in fact forces us to compare, to think about the options presented to us, and then, whether it is the choice between jelly or jam, or to wear the mask or not to, the facts presented are the driving force behind our conclusion of the matter, the decision that we make. Debate has been presented as argumentative the past few years, reaching even into the Evangelical churches where judging is now seen as judgmental, but that was just the beginning of what our adversary is attempting to accomplish in these days, without two opposing views there can be no debate, and so one side must be silenced.

Hate speech, as they have decided to call it, is not enough, although the outcome is productive for him, the complete abolishment of information that is detrimental to his cause must be enacted, and he will succeed at this. If one is not aware that the enemy is going to attack, the attack will more than likely succeed, and so it is up to the only people on the planet that know what is occurring and why to warn those of the attack, and here is where our adversary will begin to work in earnest.

The majority of people on this planet have only the movies to show them about apocalyptic futures, and of course in each of them, man finds his way to victory, this is what is occurring today with the program to vaccinate everyone alive, so that when the dreaded future arrives, we will be prepared, but it is of course nothing but a diversion, a path to obedience to the willingness for all to take the mark of the beast. (Rev. 13:17) Without the knowledge of this truth, many will succumb, and even with that knowledge, we will be mocked and ridiculed, for to the lost we seem as foolish people, purveyors of fairy tales from long ago.

For debate to occur in the mind of most individuals, two supposed truths must be presented, so when one of them is seen as not truthful to begin with, no debate will occur. “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11) The truths of the Word of God, our sword, (Eph. 6:17) is not only the best weapon we have, it is the only one we have. When presented, it does not, or should not matter one bit the response we receive, it is not our responsibility to save them, it is our responsibility to give the truth in a concise and well understood way, something that is impossible to do unless we study to show ourselves approved, every day, unless we pray that the glory of God be not only the means, but the end.

Not too many born-again believers like to contemplate this truth, but many that we speak to will die in their sins, and the words that we have been blessed to speak to them before they stand before the Lord at the great white throne of judgment will be the words that will convict them.

Our responsibility as ambassadors of the kingdom of heaven is to rightly divide the truth, but that will do absolutely no good if we do not complete in words and actions 1 Peter 3:15, “And be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.” When we use the Scriptures properly, we are creating the opportunity for debate within the mind of the person we are speaking with, whether they are convicted by His truths or whether those truths are used by the Lord to convict them to eternal damnation is not our responsibility, we are to cause the debate, we are to give the truth, expound on it, lead them to the cross, and then leave them to make a decision either for or against Christ. The words of the truths of the Scriptures will either convict them now, or be used to convict them later.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
