The Lie of Love

“And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” (Matt. 22:39)

Express love in kindness, in words that do not cause strife, express love towards others in a way that embodies betterment in whatever way possible to all you meet.

If you do not, you will be fined, imprisoned or perhaps killed.

It is not fear that our adversary is attempting to produce in mankind, that is the off shoot of his goal, to force love is the foundation of his attacks. You will love, embolden and accept the sodomites, or if you prefer the LGB community, or you will be labeled a racist and bigot. You will express love and only love to those who boldly walk into places of business and take what they want without payment, or you will be labeled a hater. You will offer unquestioning love to all you meet, without reservation, no matter their choice of lifestyle, no matter their actions, no matter their views, or you will be punished.

For after all, is not God love? Did not Christ love everyone?

It isn’t fear my friends unless it is personal fear, whether at your doorstep, on the computer screen, or on the other side of the planet, fear only works if it is taken personally, if it is received willingly within us.

This false love, this semblance of love, is a mighty tool in the hands of Satan, and because many, both those who are truly born-again and those who only profess the Lord Jesus Christ with their lips do not study to show themselves approved, the trap has been fallen into.

“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” (2nd Tim. 4:2)

No, love never rebukes, it accepts with no questioning, it never reproves or corrects, it emboldens, it allows sin while not calling it that, for it is nothing more than a personal choice.

Fear fully understands that if it speaks against anyone, there will be personal repercussions, so this supposed love is offered. Do not just accept those on the wide path, but join them, after all, did not our Lord spend time with sinners? Are we not to love our neighbor? Isn’t there hope that if we spend quality time with them that they may repent? Are you not to be the light of the world? Isn’t God love?

We wouldn’t want to offend, would we?

“Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?” (Psalm 94:16)

Light has no place in darkness save to bring that light of Christ into the world.

God hates sin, and so we are to hate sin, and one of the greatest deceptions of Satan has been this statement, “Love the sinner, but hate the sin.” The Almighty does not cast sin into the eternal suffering of hell, He casts people there, people who continually deny His Sovereignty, people, living souls that despise His Son the Lord Jesus Christ.

The truth of the love of the Lord that we are to express to all we meet that do not know Him comes with a warning, repent, turn from your evil and rebellious ways, or suffer eternal damnation. We hate them that hate His name, and so in love we speak truth to them, all the truth.

Not loving today without question will bring personal retribution upon you, that fear is what is keeping away many who know the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior from speaking the entire truth to those they meet.

If you are not standing in opposition to the evil of these days, you do not know this love.

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.” (1st John 4:18)
