The Foundation of Praise

That the Lord Jesus Christ would be lifted up, that God would be glorified, that we would agree with, and would allow by our own free will, the Holy Spirit to work through this sinful flesh to the glory of God.

“What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?” (Psalm 8:4)

The relationship that those who have been born again have with the Living God is not symbiotic, the glory of the Lord is not dependent upon our actions for or towards Him, we are not needed for Him to be who He is, yet without Him we would not exist, nothing would.

The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit have always existed, they have gained nothing from what has been created, they lose nothing if you do not live your life for them, no attribute of the Almighty is modified in any way, shape, or form by what you do or do not do.

These words should immediately destroy any sense of pride in you, they should bring a humbleness within you that can be felt in the very depth of your soul, that brings you to the realization that you are necessary for absolutely nothing. Yet we were, in all of His creation alone, made with a living soul that will exist throughout all eternity.

Angels, fallen or those that remained and did not rebel, as far as we are told, have also been made to be forever, whether or not they have a soul is a matter for another time, but we do, and we will never be uncreated.

Some of us will experience pleasures forevermore, the smoke of the torment of others though will never cease.

In this age, from the creation of Adam to when we will walk into eternity, the Most High has determined to allow walking dust to bring His message to people. “For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” (1st Cor. 1:21) and you have at the most only a few decades to do so, then you will be replaced by another that He has called unto Himself.

Today it is your turn.

The terms profitable and unprofitable in the Scriptures are for our advantage only, each of us are accountable for our actions and words, or the lack thereof, but in either case it does not modify the Almighty, He is not lifted up higher or brought down lower because of you.

“Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” (Prov. 16:18)

One of the greatest sins of Satan is that he sees himself as equal to God, this is pride, and although the following statement is only conjecture on my part, I believe it holds a modicum of truth, he is, at least for this age, necessary, for God does not tempt mankind, and so He needed, as it were, someone who would. Satan was created for a specific purpose.

Without souls in eternal damnation the Lord would still have wrath, without angels He could still perform the tasks towards mankind that He desires to be done, without mankind, God would still be loving and merciful, heaven is not a greater place of joy for the Lord because you are there.

Without you, God is still God in all His fulness.

“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” (Rev. 4:11)

This wisdom brings a humility and love into our lives that cannot be expressed, and a hatred by the wicked that can never be fully exhibited by them.

“I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:” (Isaiah 45:5)

To come to the realization of the truth that you are completely unnecessary, yet loved with an everlasting love, is perhaps the most humbling event that will ever happen in your life, and the greatest foundation of praise that you can ever express.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
