“Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” (Psalm 127:1)
Works-based religious organizations, those built around emotional context and responses, around adherence to specified traditions, and many of those that still consider themselves Evangelical yet prescribe to organization above all else, are not churches built by the Almighty.
The truth of this can be seen over the last few decades not solely in the decline of memberships, but of the fire slowly dwindling away, man’s idea of how the Most High is supposed to be served and worshipped replacing the revealed truths of the Word of God.
“If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3)
Revival is a term some like to use occasionally, attempting to bring back what never should have been lost in the first place, but people are fickle, and they do not care if their rebuilding of faith lost is built upon the rubble of what once was. It takes so very little it seems for our adversary to first cripple a house that could once have been called a place of worship, and then to allow those within to continue to deceive themselves into believing they are profitable servants, that they are fulfilling the will of God.
And it does not matter what subject you desire to focus upon, women pastors, sodomites sitting in the pews, even behind the pulpits in places, whatever form of darkness you have heard of, witnessed or can conceive in your mind, it all started with allowing the world to come into the church.
“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” (2nd Cor. 6:14)
Who is to blame? The pastor? Where does his paycheck come from, and how long will he be able to keep his job if the patriarchs and matriarchs of the assembly do not care for the truths of the Scriptures.
“For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Jude 1:4)
How many pastors of those so-called Evangelical churches are part of the local interfaith organization in their community, who sit and pray with Romanist for direction? How many now practice Lent, because they do not want to be left out, how many vote for the elders and deacons based on their congeniality, their likeableness, their standing in the community?
We are not watching the death of the body of Christ my friends, we are witnessing truth being revealed, that many, if not most of the organized religions, of the churches, are no more than standard bearers for the world mixed with religious ideologies.
We are witnessing the beginnings of the one world religion.
The foundations are being destroyed not by the world, but by those who sit in the pews every Sunday, who have the appearance of godliness, who have deceived themselves into believing that not only being close personal friends with the wicked is a righteous path, but that they should be allowed to enter in through doors once reserved for the justified. And that they should be allowed to have a voice while there.
It is disgusting and shameful.
I rarely call these places churches anymore, to me they are no more than community clubhouses, where the membership dues are not proofs of the fruits of the Spirit in the lives of those who have offered their lives to the Almighty with humility and thanksgiving, but those that will adhere first to the traditions laid down, who will sit there quietly and follow their ways.
“I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.” (Rev. 3:8)
For me personally, my friends, I have no desire to be a part of any organization that has no problem bending even one of the commandments of the Lord.
