That Means You

“I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:” (Isaiah 45:5)

Most people throughout history do not know that it is the Almighty who provides for them, and many who casually believe so will not submit to Him. Life is simply “there,” to be lived to the best of one’s ability, struggling each day if not for food and the other minor necessities, those items to keep one alive and functioning, then for the wants, for the desires once those basic needs are met.

People whose bellies are full rarely stop to consider the One who brings forth bread from the earth, but they will not hesitate to curse His name when they are hungry.

“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:” (Romans 1:20)

Everyone ever born has known there is a Living God who rules in every aspect of His creation, for all were created living souls made in the image of God, but few will admit this truth.

“I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth; such an one caught up to the third heaven.” (2nd Cor. 12:2)

“And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.” (Luke 16:23)

It is not the realization of the truth of the Almighty that people who are in hell come to, it is the acknowledgment of His Sovereignty, it is the unmitigated knowledge of what they knew as a fact while they still breathed the air of this earth, that they had a choice.

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17)

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” (Eph. 2:8)

Faith in the truths of the Most High does not just pop into the head of a person one day, the Lord has revealed all He has desired for us to know in His Word, it is the will of God to use those He has called to Himself to go into all the world to spread the truth.

That means you.

“For many are called, but few are chosen.” (Matt. 22:14)

“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?” (Romans 10:14)

The Almighty chose for Himself a people out of Abraham, He has not chosen a singular group of people, or even a single person in the same manner for the Gentiles. “Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.” (John 4:22)

When the Lord Jesus Christ came to this earth in the flesh, born of a woman, it was not to give the sons of Abraham a “last chance,” it was to tell them that their house was left unto them desolate, that the Father was going to remove them from the vine for a while, almost two thousand years now, to be grafted back into that vine later. It is the time of the Gentiles, despised and rejected for thousands of years as a whole, who are now being called, and they are being called by those the Lord God has blessed with His Holy Spirit.

That means you.

Angels are not going to make regular visits to your house to instruct you in this, a pillar of fire is not going to lead you to the lost, seas are not going to part so you can reach them with the message. You are to study to show yourself approved, you are to be knowledgeable by the exercising of your faith, you are to love the Lord your God enough to go out into all the world and speak the truths of salvation through Christ that He has revealed to you in His Word.

That is how the Almighty has determined it to be in these days of grace. Not invite them to church, not just hand them a tract, not just live as good a life as you can, but to open your mouth and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to them of the truths of grace through faith, of the One who paid it all, of the price that was paid for them.

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)

That means you.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
