Stop Conforming

You are being told what to think, whether you do or not as they desire has been left up to you, you are being told how to react to what you see and hear, whether you comply or not is up to you.

Those who do not resist in a revolution are offered service within the new hierarchy, those who resist are made to obey. “Do not be conformed.” (Romans 12:2) So then, what will our adversary attempt to do, duh, to conform us, if the Scriptures speak to us in one way, then Satan will speak to us in the inverse of that way, that is called a lie, and the father of lies (John 8:44) is very proficient at what he does. The lost are brute beasts, (2 Peter 2:12) they are cattle, so these are they that are not resisting, the born-again believers are not so easy, they have to be coerced, and I will make no distinction here between those who believe themselves weak in the faith and those who have learned to trust, you are commanded to trust. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Prov. 3:5-6)

What you are being spoon fed you have the ability to resist swallowing, you are in control of your mental faculties, you are accountable. Do not be conformed, that means do not be like them, do not behave, act, or think like the heathen do, do not show up to work tomorrow and spend time conversing about the “news of the day,” because that is what our adversary wants, he wants you to conform, to be like them. What was the so important news yesterday, last week, ten years ago, in the year 1536, are you getting the point, are you conforming?

What the news media outlets tell you is important is what many talk about, their perception of reality, what they have been told to tell the viewing public they spew out as of great value, they read what is on the teleprompter, holding blank pieces of paper to portray themselves as greatly important, remembering and practicing everything they have learned on how to speak and look persuasive, and then they read what they have been told to read.

You can say you can judge for yourself what is right and what is wrong, that you search various and different venues, websites, YouTube channels, Twitter, Facebook to become more informed, to be able to discern about, about what, the current events you have been told to be concerned about? Getting the point here? Catching the drift? Are we learning now?

Why are so many who claim to know Christ so proficient at discussing the current events, at continuing day after day in the topics of the day, why do the words of the world, its cares and concerns pass through their lips to the lost and even these they call brothers and sisters in Christ so easily, but not the promises, the faithfulness, the joy of the Lord? Because they are being conformed to the world, and they are doing so willingly. “It’s important! I don’t want to seem like I don’t care, it’s an opportunity to reach them for the Lord. I have to stay informed; I have to keep up to date.” Any other excuses you would like to give, go ahead and fill them in here, if it makes you feel better, write them down and keep them in your pocket or purse, but on the back side of that paper I would ask you to write down all the times in the last few months that you diverted, or attempted to divert these so-called so very important discussions toward Christ.

Pay attention here for just a moment, give me your undivided attention and through the grace of the Lord I will impart wisdom to you. Those people that you are speaking with, whether they are lost or saved, those who need to keep up with all the current events continually and religiously, they are easily led around, that much should be obvious to you, perhaps what is not quite so obvious is the fact that you have the ability to lead them just as easily. Now you must stop here and determine, who has been leading you, what have you been oh so concerned with lately, what has kept your mind busy, what they have been telling you is so important, or the eternal, what they, what the adversary wants you to look at, or who you are supposed to be keeping your eyes upon.

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.” (2 Cor. 10:5) “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:2)

But what? Be transformed. That means to be turned into something else, something that you are now not. Ask yourself this the next time you turn your television or phone on, which is nothing more than another conforming device, because I am going to guess that you use it a lot less for a phone and instead search out those so important items on the internet, so then, ask yourself this, what is more important, my need to know, or my need to submit. If you are this person that this letter was intended for, you have been trapped, you are conforming and not being transformed, and you now have a very serious personal problem, you have been shown the truth.

Now, as always, you will be held accountable, you will have to give an account, (Romans 14:12) and you may believe this or not, but “I don’t know why” is not the answer that your Master is going to accept. Stop conforming, start transforming today.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
