Stay On Track

For 120 years Noah warned, pleaded and witnessed to everyone that came into that valley where the ark was being built, and for 120 years he worked under their stares, their ridicules and mocking.

For over 20 years Jeremiah tried to warn the people of what was approaching, and received the same response from them, even being cast into prison for his obedience to the Lord.

It has been over two years since the supposed pandemic, since the false prophets of the world cast their spell upon the weak minded, forcing lockdowns and mandates. Those of you who were blessed to be able to see through this, what were you warning about then, and what are you warning about today? “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9)

Our message does not change, we are not concerned with the continuation of life here, their world holds nothing for us, we speak of eternal matters, we set our affections on things above, we lay our treasures in heaven, we seek for a home not built with hands. So, I ask you, if you are only warning of the Tribulation period to those who will listen, in fact to all that will hear, are you not concerned with their eternal soul?

The fires of hell and the Lake of Fire for all eternity cannot be compared to a short seven-year span of time, yet that seems to be the focus of far too many today, safety for the flesh while none for the soul.

I have been as guilty as anyone else in this matter, for how many times have I been led to pen, “what is approaching cannot be stopped,” how many videos have been produced whose main subject revolved around the days of Jacob’s Troubles. I will not say that I have completely neglected eternal matters, for I have not, but I have been guilty of falling into the same trap as far too many others, overly concerned with the wrath of God upon this planet, upon all mankind for a short period of time, and not His wrath that not only abides upon those today who will not acknowledge His complete Sovereignty, but will be poured upon them for all eternity.

The elect cannot be deceived continuously, but for short periods of time we do allow ourselves to be led astray. Just because the Almighty has chosen us to live in these last days, these days are not to be our main concern, bringing the message of salvation through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is. Many have strayed off the path here, and in a sense have become unprofitable, for their focus is on either the rapture or the Tribulation period and those events that will indeed fall upon the earth. We have in that sense fulfilled Revelation 2:4, “Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.”

It has always been a subtle trap of our adversary, to keep the minds of man on a possible future, and nearly always in a way that brings fear of it upon them. Do not fall for this.

Indeed it is my firm belief that we are in the days of the beginnings of sorrows, that the taking up of the saints of the Lord is imminent, that the Tribulation time is approaching with great speed, but we must not lose sight of our responsibility, to bring the message of salvation to all we meet. Yes, the days will be beyond difficult, “And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.” (Mark 13:20) But that time cannot be compared to an eternity of suffering.

There is only one way to escape the days of Jacob’s Troubles, and it is the same way to escape eternal damnation. You know which is more important, do not lose sight of that.

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)
