“Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?” (Psalm 94:16)
There are at this time approximately 450 million people in the United States, and there are perhaps at the most one million combined in the entire military complex. If those in the highest positions of authority determined to subdue the populace by force, do you believe that after the anarchy and chaos had subsided that they could accomplish this feat?
Wars are fought with the hope of the promise of riches and gain, “Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.” (James 4:2) And in this scenario, as it would be in any other nation, the object is to obtain complete control over the populace.
The fear of death nearly always overrides the fear of forced subjugation.
Now envision those eight billion people on the planet in this same scenario in over nearly two hundred nations and you will see the power of our adversary once the Holy Spirit is removed. “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Rev. 13:17)
Billions of people are going to die, either before or after we are removed, and the majority of people are still concerned with self, they will not heed the warnings of those who have been placed on the wall to be watchmen. Most are easily diverted by the news of the day, and that news, those portents of approaching collapse and catastrophe, occur nearly every day. “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” (Daniel 12:4)
I ask you, what news account have you heard over the last three years or so that can overshadow this one truth, that nearly half the population of the planet, and possibly much more than that, are going to die in less than a seven-year period of time? What nation, what entire planet if they recognized the truth of these words would not fall on their faces before the Living God and plead for His mercy upon them? It is going to happen, and most who claim faith in Christ are diverted by a supposed pandemic, bank failures, UFOs, and any other number of deceitful lies and diversions of our adversary and the wicked men who follow his calling.
“It will all work out in the end,”
“It’s just a correction in the known structure.”
“And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.” (2nd Peter 3:4)
We live day-to-day, and so we pay attention to what is happening today, while those who have been placed on the wall warn of what is approaching. But few will listen, few will heed the call, most are simply attempting to be the best Christian they can be, watching the never-ending “signs,” searching the internet for the next portent of approaching doom, and then going about their business of living life, hoping for the sun to shine tomorrow.
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:” (Matt. 7:13)
Billions of people are going to die, and many who claim Christ as Lord are only concerned with getting to church on time.
What is approaching cannot be stopped, we see the small cloud shaped like a hand in the distance, we are trying to warn those who will not believe, and you have a decision to make. Enough of the small talk my friends, see clearly the diversions to the truth. Stand on the wall and give the warning.
