“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (1st Cor. 2:14)
You may add this verse in these dark days to that one, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” (2nd Tim. 3:13)
Those in the highest or lowest positions of authority on this planet are placed there by the Almighty, and many times He allows Satan to manipulate them. Their own sinful, unrepentant nature gives our adversary the opportunity to easily deceive them for they have no Spiritual discernment whatsoever, their goal is the elevation of self, of power and pride. They do not, in fact cannot work for the glory of God for they do not know Him.
“For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.” (Romans 9:17)
The Lord knows who the antichrist is, He allows Satan certain liberties so that He can achieve the goals He has set forth, Satan is in all actually just another tool in the Master’s hands. The men in positions of authority on the world’s stage who are attempting to gain dominance over their populations are concerned with forcing those masses of humanity to become submissive to their will, yet since they have no Spiritual eyes to see with, they do not realize that it is the will of Satan that they are fulfilling.
Whether or not our adversary understand that he is also fulfilling the will of the Living God is debatable, but the Scriptures are clear, God is always in control of His entire creation, and all things lead to His glory.
Without Spiritual discernment even those who have been saved by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ can be led astray, without seeking the Scriptures and thereby the face and will of God, we also can be deceived, and deception is one of Satan’s favorite tools. Even a babe in Christ has been given eyes to see and ears to hear, but initially only in the most rudimentary truths of the Scriptures, that Jesus Christ gave His life for them, that salvation is by grace alone, and that by believing on Him they have been eternally saved.
“The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.” (Prov. 21:12)
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2nd Tim. 2:15)
Spiritual discernment can only come by fervent prayer, by the Holy Spirit revealing the truths of the Scriptures to us, by the Living God to those who desire to lift up the name of His precious Son for His glory, you will not just wake up one day and be filled with the wisdom of God, you must seek for it, pray without ceasing, you must apply yourself.
“She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.” (Prov. 3:15)
The evil men in positions of power have decided to remain that way, the grace of God may call them to salvation, but Matthew 7:14 is a truth. “Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
The Lord has placed them there in these dark days for a reason, He is allowing Satan freer will than perhaps ever before for a reason, and the love of many is growing cold for that same reason, seven years of pain, suffering and sorrow such as the world has never seen before or ever will again.
Those who have sought for, who have diligently prayed for and continue in prayer for Spiritual discernment have been witnessing those days approaching for a very long time now, and we are fulfilling our obligation to the Almighty by warning all who will listen. Most will not listen though, most will die in their sins and be eternally lost. Our responsibility goes far beyond warning though, we are to lead them to the Lord Jesus Christ, we are to show them the only means of escape, of the only One who can not only save them from eternal damnation, but to the truth of what is approaching, and my friends, it is approaching quickly.
Satan cannot hinder the will of God, but he can offer deceptions and subtle diversions. Those who have been blessed with Spiritual discernment can see through the deceptions, through the lies to the truth. Billions of people are being led astray, billions of people are going to die, the mouth of hell is opening wide to receive them.
A wise ambassador of the Kingdom of God prays diligently for Spiritual discernment, for truth is found there, and truth, the truths of the Word of God is our adversaries greatest fear.
