It is purported that some social media sites have millions of subscribers, Facebook alone is said to have over a billion, considering that there are nearly eight billion people on the planet earth at this moment though, that number of subscribers is really quite an insignificant amount.
Many of the videos on YouTube have hundreds of thousands of views, and some have upward to ten thousand or more comments, again, when viewed in the totality of the numbers of mankind, quite insignificant.
Nearly all of the social media sights and all of the news stations though, when taken as a whole, including radio, reach nearly all of the people, and so, because people seek information, what those who run this planet want people to be aware of, at least what is called “The narrative” today, will sooner or later reach the ears of all. The Lord has, what we could term His own “social media site,” explained in just two verses from the Scriptures. “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.” (Eccl. 3:11) And “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.” (Romans 1:20)
Every single person that has ever been born knows this as truth, without a doubt they know that there is a God in heaven who is Sovereign, whose Word is final, and who does not change. Satan’s responsibility is to attempt to stop those truths from becoming a recognized truth within each individual, and along with the free will that the Lord has blessed every single person with, the denial of these truths of God’s Word is allowed to become debatable. In the simplest of terminologies, everyone knows there is a Sovereign Lord of all creation, and everyone is allowed to determine for themselves if they will choose to recognize Him as such.
Since the majority of mankind has chosen to deny Him, they’re main responsibility is to align with Satan’s attempts to hinder the work of the Holy Spirit. They become no more than a tool in the hands of our adversary. “Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.” (Luke 8:12) The first seed, the one that is planted in all men by the Lord, is, in a sense, removed by Satan, replaced with that doubt we have spoken of here. The next two accounts, those seeds that fall into the rocks and those that fall amongst the weeds, are removed by man himself, with very little assistance from Satan.
Here is the work of the accuser of our souls, and the work of the free will of man, we do not need the assistance of Satan to deny the Most High and the Sovereignty He holds over all of creation. It is profitable to notice something here in regard to the outlets of news information though, the largest of them is no greater than the sum of its parts, the squeaky wheel always gets the most attention.
Diversions and deceptions are the order of the day, there is a siege that has begun outside the gates, and most of the children of God have found it fit to run and hide instead of standing on the wall and preparing for battle. They call the lost to repent, which is admirable and right, but they have placed in their hands no sword to fight the battle, they have placed their shield of faith (Eph. 6:16) in front of them, but instead of standing at the ready, prepared to die for the glory of God, if that is what He calls them to do, they cower behind that shield, not willing to sacrifice themselves for His glory.
Speaking against the narrative today can get you banned from those social media sites, soon it may cause you to be imprisoned and perhaps killed. How far you are willing to go with the Lord will show you the amount of faith that you have in Him.
