“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” (John 8:44)
And those lies, though becoming much more subtle in these days, are easily seen by those who have been called by the Almighty, but not all of them at once.
Until the supposed shortage of goods seemed to be on the horizon, my lovely wife and I never once contemplated having some extra food in the house, we never thought it might be a good idea to have just a little cash on hand, to have an extra this or that because they may crash the economic structure to bring in the CBDC, stop the railways or clog up the ports. We are by no mean hoarders or preppers, and while we are well aware that what we do have will not last for long, those things did not even cross our minds for years.
“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” (Matt. 24:24)
Were we deceived momentarily or given wisdom?
If you are serving the Lord Jesus Christ for the glory of God, then you have been blessed with eyes to see and ears to hear, but sometimes it takes certain circumstances to open those eyes and ears to the reality of the days we are living in, the beginnings of sorrows. Now comes the very difficult, very personal question in this short letter today, is your faith being deceived?
Internet preachers, if we may call some of them that, are abounding as never before, and if you have been blessed by the Lord to be able to discern between the evil and the good, it takes you very little time to be able to tell the false prophets from the men of God who are proclaiming the truth of the Scriptures. Not so with many. Look at the amount of subscribers on any YouTube video and you will see just how many are being deceived by the Prosperity Theology liars, the Revivalist, Charismatics, Pentecostals, Romanist, the “Jesus is returning soon, here are more signs to prove it” preachers. Some of these people make an exceptional amount of money from their channels, while those who preach Christ and how we are to live for Him are what is called shadow banned, unless you know the name of their channel you will not find them.
“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.” (2nd Tim. 3:13)
“Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” (2nd Cor. 11:15)
Subtlety is growing more subtle, and many more are being deceived. We are told to test the Spirits, so when you find a channel that seems to be, shall we say, sanctioned by God, test the Spirits, watch several of their videos, listen intently, compare everything you hear to the Word of God, then, if it is in line with the Scriptures, support that channel by subscribing and liking the videos, but if not, go to the comment section and help those who have that speck in their eye. Some may listen, most will persecute you with their words, rejoice in that, but do not let it dissuade you. Sooner or later the one making those deceitful videos will simply block you from making comments, but you can rest assured that there are plenty more out there.
No matter what social media site you regularly visit, you will find ministers of Satan doing what they have always done. Fulfill Psalm 94:16 in your life, “Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?”
