Sacrificial Truth

The amount of your convictions on what you believe to be truth can be seen in what you are willing to sacrifice for it.

When masks were mandated, there were places that my lovely wife and I would not enter, we were blessed to see through the lie that many today still believe as truth.

“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:” (2nd Thess. 2:11)

These delusions, in my humble opinion, have already begun, they will culminate with the belief by many of the children of Abraham that the antichrist is the Messiah. Deception is one of our adversary’s greatest tools, deception depends on full knowledge of the truth, for one cannot lie unless one knows the truth. Those who have been given over to a reprobate mind are easily led astray, easy to deceive, and it takes very little in these dark days to see that many believe a lie as the truth.

But I ask you this question in this short letter, how many have you witnessed that have died for what they consider truth? Not many, if any, instead they focus all their intent on attempting to coerce you into also believing what they say is truth.

An entire valley with perhaps several towns fell to deception once, and God rained fire and brimstone upon it.

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” (John 17:17)

I cannot give you an accurate number, perhaps no one can, but yesterday many people died for the truths of the Word of God, truth that they would not disavow, truth that they were willing to sacrifice their lives for.

Tomorrow it will happen again.

The world is believing a lie, and there are thousands of them to believe, but I see only those who have been born-again willing to die for the truth. It is why it saddened me so much when I watched as over ninety percent of all Evangelical churches locked their doors, when they believed the lie instead of standing in the truth. They hid in their houses, hoping not to die alone.

You must understand what it means to pray for truth, for Spiritual discernment, for the ability to discern between good and evil, or you will succumb to the lies.

Truth hurts people’s feelings, truth tears apart the lies they believe to be truth, truth will make people hate you. “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” (Gal. 4:16)

If it is not spoken in love, and by that I do not necessarily mean kind words, words of calming reassurance, then truth has little value. It isn’t polite to tell people that if they do not repent, they will go to hell, it isn’t kind to inform them that they are sinners in the eyes of the Lord, but it does not change the truth that we are speaking in love. The truth that the sun is in the sky is self-evident, the truth that the Son is going to return to judge the wicked is rarely believed.

Are your convictions of the truth something you are willing to lose all your friends and family over, are you willing to live in poverty for that truth, are you willing to die for it? “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” (Rev. 12:11)

If you are going to stand for the truth, for the One who said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6) then you should be willing to sacrifice everything for Him, with no thought to yourself.

If, and when, that day comes upon you, you will be shown if you are truly in love with the truth, or if you have only been professing Him with your lips all this time.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
