“But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:” (Eph. 4:15)
How many people can you recall speaking the truth to who were joyful and appreciative to hear it? If you think about the question for a few moments, you may find the answer to be “not many.”
We live in a day of fact checkers, of misinformation, of the supposed desired truths of some, of perceptions being far more important than truth. We live in the days of the narrative.
The truth that has set all who have been born again free is reprehensible to the rest of the world, for it can only reveal to them one thing, they are believing a lie. Whether it is an individual, a social media site, a large corporate entity or the leaders of a nation, truth is not just frowned upon today, it can lead to severe punishment.
This world at the present time is still under the control of our adversary, well regulated by our Father in heaven, and this truth about him is an absolute truth.
“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” (John 8:44)
And because he is still in control, as much as the Almighty allows him to be, this verse is also a truth.
“And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.” (1st John 5:19)
The very first thing that many do when the truth is revealed to them is put up a defensive manner, the second, and almost instantaneous with the first, is to blame someone else. It has always been this way.
“And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.” (Gen. 3:12)
What comes after that, though not always in the same action, is persecution of the one who dared to reveal truth to that person.
“And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.” (Gen. 4:8)
Jealousy, envy, hatred, all byproducts of the denial of absolute truth.
To those of you who watch as leaders of nations pledged to the desires of the World Economic Forum, to the World Health Organization and other entities who manipulated the encouragement of truth being removed from their positions of authority, I caution you with this truth. What is approaching cannot be stopped, the timeline of the Living God is not hindered by your perception of truth.
People are not all of a sudden going to stop being lovers of self, the beginnings of sorrows have not been put on hold because certain individuals around the planet in positions of the highest authority in nations are stepping down or being removed.
A line from an old song for you. “Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.”
Satan never stops lying, but he can quite easily alter his lies to coerce people into believing they are the truth.
“Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.” (Jer. 17:5)
I am going to presume that some of you do not care for this letter, you want to believe that those who are replacing those in the highest positions in certain nations are good men, men who have your best interests at heart. You want everything to be all better, to return to some form of normality. They are not going to, and so you must ask yourself this question, ask yourself if it really is a truth to you.
“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” (Phil. 1:21)
Some of you though may, if even unintentionally, would prefer that this truth be applied to me.
“Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” (Gal. 4:16)
Whether offered in love or not, most people do not want to hear the truth, it either informs them that they are wrong, or reveals truth that they do not want to accept.
