“For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?” (Romans 8:24)
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17)
“The just shall live by faith.” (Romans 1:17)
A very serious question for you, do faith and hope require actualization to be verified? Does the Almighty need to prove Himself in our lives as verification of His existence, and especially in His promises before faith can become a reality in our lives?
If the just live by faith, yet the Lord our God never reveals Himself to us in any form, never verifies that our faith has a solid foundation to rest upon because no action has been performed by Him to validate our faith, then exactly what would your faith rest upon?
“But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.” (John 10:38)
You and I, everyone ever born, has hoped for something at one time or another in our lives that we, in our heart of hearts, knew there was no possibility of it occurring. We have faith that the dawn will break tomorrow only because it has every day of our lives.
Have you ever met anyone who claims to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, who says they live by faith, who has never had validation from Him as the reason for their faith? Does at least one of our prayers to Him need to be answered before we will submit to His will in our lives?
Proof beyond hearing, continuously hoping for that which is promised, living by faith yet never realizing or seeing any validation of Him. Is that the faith we are to have?
Are we to reveal our faith to the world by our works for One who has never revealed Himself to us outside of our own heart? If God never answered even one of your prayers, not one, then why would you continue to believe in Him?
You wouldn’t, so He does.
I could tell the wicked, and have before, of my life before, during and up to this day since the Lord called me to Himself, and they would say that the bad times were my own fault, that I brought those things upon myself. They would explain that the good times, the prosperous times were because I finally matured and began to take responsibility for my own actions.
But the miracles I have witnessed firsthand with my own eyes, that happened in my presence they have no answer for.
Spooks, ghosts, haunts, some higher power, luck, chance, coincidence, imaginations of my mind, every possible excuse will be offered for the unexplainable by them.
But not that it was an action of the Living God in my life.
I will offer the following words as truth, let’s see if you can accept them as such.
Without proof from God in your life that He exists, and it is Him whom your faith is in, your faith has no foundation.
The just live by faith validated by the Living God in instances of our past. The children of Israel saw with their own eyes the Red Sea part, they walked through the walls of water on both sides of them on dry ground. What have you seen?
“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.” (Malachi 3:10)
If He has not proven Himself to you, then just what is your faith resting upon? Some feelings? Some emotions that make you feel better?
How has He validated His existence to you?
