“Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.” (Prov. 11:4)
Nearly every God-fearing man I trust speaks of one truth of these days, the judgement of God is upon the United States, on this they all agree. Many have been given over to a reprobate mind, iniquity is abounding, and those that do evil are being applauded and even enabled by those in authority over us.
The individuals in power attempt to state that the elites, the rich, are the enemy, along with the faceless “Big Tech” companies, while neglecting to say that they themselves are not only also elites but consorting with these large technological corporations for their own benefit. Not one of them will admit that it is the Almighty that has placed them in these positions, but all of them, unless the Lord intervenes in their heart, will know the truth of our opening verse.
“And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” (Matt. 19:24) If you will look at the context here, you will see that the statement our Lord made amazed those with Him, for it had always been presumed that those the Most High loved the most were blessed with great wealth and material possessions, and that had been proven over the centuries. But what they had not taken into account was the prophet who ate locust and honey, the clothes that John the Baptist wore, even the one they revered the most, Moses who had but a tent and the items in it.
Elite is a derogatory word at best, it infers not only great worldly wealth, but a lack of care and desire to assist mankind with it. It is indeed a worldly-wise plan to cause even greater divisions between mankind, while also using it as an open door to begin the enabled society, and thus the influx of the loss of personal accountability for our actions. In other words, “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” (Matt. 24:12)
We must always remember this, it is a Spiritual warfare that we are in, Satan has a plan, a program, and it has been set up and prepared specifically for these days. The greater the deceptions, the easier the diversions, and the deceits that follow them. “The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.” (Prov. 22:7)
There is a different feeling, a different set of emotional stabilities, if you will, when you have no debt, it increases sadly as your bank account increases, and if one is not careful, you can begin to rely on, or even worse put your trust in that supposed financial security. I laugh at those that say we need to purchase gold or silver to ensure a more stable future for ourselves, for in my mind I see them attempting to trade that bar of gold for a piece of bread, and it reminds me of Esau and the birthright he sold for a simple bowl of stew.
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:19) If you ate today, you have been blessed my friends. It is not just the simple things of life that far too many take for granted, it is the presumed knowledge that the Lord will continue to bless them with material items, with wealth, with the things of the world.
There are fewer things more disconcerting than a brother in Christ who strives each day for the things of this world.
How long it takes you to find out that the latest item you purchased no longer has the gleam of new upon it will tell you how far on this path you have travelled. The elite will find out one day that those riches availed them absolutely nothing, hopefully you can see this truth in yourself today.
