The lost actually believe that things are going to remain the same, or even get better, mostly because of technology. Certain factions of the media attempt to tell us that the elites, as the ones with the most financial wherewithal are called today, are going to be our new masters, that they will fare sumptuously while we are relegated to eating bugs and living in monstrous megacities, receiving “free money,” as long as we obey their new standards.

Nimrod, Nebuchadnezzar, the Philistines, Rome, every single time that a group of individuals, a nation came upon the people of Israel they came with war, with fierceness of purpose and with death. The Lord delivered them each time, save for one, with Rome.

“And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.” (Acts 3:15)

The iron mixed with clay is fast approaching, Rome will be revived, the entire planet will suffer. Those who have been born-again have replaced in this age of grace those who came before us, the physical children of Abraham, we are the spiritual children of that patriarch, and we have begun to fail miserably at our responsibility. We will be removed in the Rapture, the nations will be judged, and Israel will be delivered, once again to be the people of God, set before Him for 1,000 years to give the message of the Almighty.

When those who have been saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ, the Christians are removed, Jew and Gentile alike, there will be no more added to our ranks, we will be and always will be the only ones known as Christians.

“And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” (Luke 21:24) In one sense my friends what we are waiting for is the last person on this planet to be saved by that grace of God, at that moment the Rapture will happen. There will not be at the moment after that event one single person who gives the glory to God through faith in Jesus Christ on this planet, it will be completely blanketed in evil.

Those who come to faith in the Savior during the time of the Tribulation will not have the indwelling Holy Spirit living within them as we do today, Matthew 24:13 makes this quite clear, “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” We are the message bearers today, we are the watchmen on the wall, and it takes very little research to see that in most nations we are doing a terrible job at what we have been sent to do. “And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matt. 3:2)

Too many of us fear personal retribution, too many of us hide in the supposed safety of that building with a cross in it, speaking only amongst ourselves about the evil of these days, too many have hid His word in our hearts, attempting to make ourselves “better” Christians, and forgetting to love our neighbor with not only the warnings of the rise of Rome and the clay mixed with it, but of the eternal damnation that awaits all who refuse to acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ as just that, Lord of all.

The love of the saints for the Lord Jesus Christ has grown cold, and because of that, iniquity is abounding.

There will be no revival, the Scriptures speak of no such event before the Rapture, but there can be one in your heart, if you are willing to pay the price. “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.” (John 15:18) How many of you can honestly say that your neighbors, the people you work with daily, even members of your own family hate you because you love them enough to warn them about their souls final abode if they will not repent, and how many of you are accepted by those same people because you do not love your neighbor enough to warn them?

I have been led to write these words so many times that at times I tire of them greatly, but they are the truth, most of the people who believe themselves to be saved are not. “For many are called, but few are chosen.” (Matt. 22:14) They are deceiving themselves, they perform all the functions, the obligations of what they believe represents a Christian. “This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.” (Matt. 15:8) They do not speak of the Lord Jesus Christ to others, they feel no sense of urgency in these days, there is no burden upon their hearts for the lost, they are not frustrated continuously by a world of people who are in direct disobedience to the will and word of God,

“There is no fear of God before their eyes.” (Romans 3:18)

They will not speak of the truths of the fires of hell to others but expect to be welcomed into the Kingdom of God.

We are the message bearers in this age of grace, and that grace is coming to an end, the wrath of God will be revealed to all mankind, billions of people are going to die in their sins, and many of them sit in the pew right beside you every Sunday. “Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.” (Matt. 24:46) All others will be left behind.

You really need to be very sure of this, you need to be able to look back on your life since the salvation of your soul that you say has occurred and be able to say, “Yes, I am a Christian.” If you cannot see any fruits of your labors, you are not saved, if your heart and the actions of it are not of Christ, if your life is not lived for the glory of God, you cannot in all honesty call yourself after the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Gal. 6:7)
