Ask yourself this question, who has more power, ten thousand protesters standing against two hundred armed men, or a righteous man praying fervently. How many of those protestors are truly willing to give their lives for the cause they are so adamant about, to die for what they believe in, how many can one of the armed men kill before they themselves are destroyed, and what will happen when the ruling party decides to bring in the tanks, or do a quick fly over with a fully laden jet or bomber.
The question can of course be answered quite simply, and is dependent on the resolve of the leaders of the nation in question, how many of the people in their country are they willing to kill to provoke the remainder into complete submission.
“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” (James 5:16) When they are prayed in wisdom, by the power of the Holy Spirit, with the intent of glorifying the Lord God, then this man, my friends, will indeed die if that is what the Lord requires of him, willingly, without any hesitation. I am afraid that you will not find many protestors out there, no matter the cause, that are willing to go that far, and in that respect, they have lost before they even began. “For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.” (Romans 5:7)
What is occurring on a global scale is not going to cease, it is not going to revert back to what it once was even just a year or so ago, as a born-again believer this should be quite clear to you now, the leaders of nations have been deceived by Satan, with the promise of lies he has coerced them, with riches and power he has pulled their nose rings, and there is no turning back. Those who hold sway over military bases that can see through the deception, at least a few, will revolt, that is expected, for the father of lies path has always been one of divide and conquer, separate the man Adam from his God, and the woman in time, will attempt to separate herself from her husband.
The man of God rarely, if ever, prays overreaching prayers, they are concise, to the point, they are thought out beforehand and contemplated on with serious intent. He does not blurt out foolish requests, but is always specific, and always starts with praise.
The well laid plans of those who are attempting to make themselves kings of the world will in the end fail, but for a short time, about seven years or so, they will find themselves at the top, so to speak, they will indeed rule the planet earth, but not in the way they envisioned.
I would ask you to ponder this statement that the World Economic Forum uses as one of their headings for their plan for world domination, “You will own nothing, and be happy.” Now collate that ridiculous notion with this verse, “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” (Rev. 13:17) How is one to buy or sell if they own nothing? The best laid plans destroyed, before they ever got off to a decent start.
One or two military fighter jets can do quite a bit of damage to a group of one hundred thousand protestors, and afterwards, the rest will indeed fall in line.
“The just shall live by faith,” (Romans 1:17) not by hope, but by faith, the positive, unwavering assurance of the continual presence of the Holy Spirit in their lives, the proof of that assurance of their salvation from the One whose promises are true, the faithful knowledge that this life is to be lived in service to the One who loved us first, who gave His life for us, who paid the penalty for our sins. “A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.” (Prov. 22:3) But when it is time to stand, he will stand, perhaps shaking violently from temporary fear, perhaps with a peace that passes all understanding, but he will stand.
My friends, it is time to pray without ceasing, (1 Thess. 5:17) specifically, intentionally, with wisdom and spiritual discernment, something that the Lord God is more than willing to train any of His children in, if they have determined that it is His glory alone that they seek.
