“Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: (Isaiah 6:5a)
“When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.” (Luke 5:8)
“He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe’s latchet I am not worthy to unloose.” (John 1:27)
The closer the Lord draws us to Himself, the more we see ourselves as who we are, vile, wretched, without hope without Him. This truth has been attempted to be wiped out by not only the world and the perception of the Almighty that its ruler Satan wants them to believe, but by far too many who profess to be born-again. God is love is the banner they fly, which is indeed truth, the problem is, it is the only banner they hold up. His wrath and vengeance, His hatred of evil, His demand for holiness in those who dare to proclaim they belong to Him, these are not mentioned.
All this and more is clearly seen in the enablement and inclusiveness that all are expected to accept from those who not only flaunt their great sins in the light, but are openly deceived that the Most High is only love.
In essence, those who believe we are to love our neighbor who have fallen into this trap, believe that rebuking is a sin, that reproving is not an act of love, that judging is not appropriate nor an act they are to commit.
“Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.” (Matt. 7:6)
To these, there are no such swine on the planet, all are welcome, all are received in love, none are evil, or given over to a reprobate mind.
Repentance is not preached in the land, acceptance is, for this singular reason, if you do not accept them as they are, you are not loving, much less revealing the love of the Lord Jesus Christ that you profess to have. And this love, or the semblance of it, if it is not offered, will cause you to be charged with a law that will penalize you for not accepting them, a hate crime.
Satan is far beyond subtle my friends, if you do not show love to what you know is sin in the eyes of the Living God, you will be labeled a hater, and punished without that which they proclaim all must possess, love.
We are to forgive, they do not have to, we are to love our neighbor, they say that if we question their lifestyle, if we do not accept them as they are, then we do not love our neighbor.
And you will be punished without love.
It does not amaze me that the brute beasts have fallen into this trap, what does amaze me is how many who profess to serve the Lord Jesus Christ have.
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20)
What was only done under the cover of darkness is now done in the light, but we who stand on the Rock of our salvation see only a growing darkness.
“And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.” (1st Sam. 15:22)
It cost something to follow Christ, and that price may be far beyond being ostracized by the world you are commanded to hate, it may cost you all you have, including your life.
“If you do not love them, you will be punished for your hatred.”
That is what the world says.
“If you do not hate the evil, you do not know Christ.”
That is what the Word of God proclaims.
“The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.” (Prov. 8:13)
And if you do not stand in this day, you will hear, “Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:” (Matt. 25:41)
To those who still say we are never to judge anyone, I offer this, if we are to judge with righteous judgment, with the truths of the Word of God, and you do not, who are you standing with? If they are His Words and you speak them, you are standing with Christ, if not, then you are none of His.
You have an opportunity here to profess Job 42:6. If necessary, use it.
“Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.”
