Period. The End

When we acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord of our lives, we give up all ownership of everything we have to Him, every worldly possession now belongs to Him, our desires for personal advancement are superseded by His path for our lives, our very life we put in His hands and say, “Thy will be done.” If you have done that, you are saved by grace through faith in His name, if not, your salvation is questionable.

We must ponder some points here though, if we were to simply sit and wait to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit telling us what He would have us to do next, we could be waiting for quite some time. If we move without prayer first, we may be headed in the wrong direction, and if we spend every moment of everyday in the Word of God, and do not do the works, we are at best unprofitable, and at worst, as in the aforementioned place, our salvation may be in question.

The Almighty never leaves us where He found us, where He called us from, there is growth in the grace and knowledge of salvation, it is not just some words said, it is not stagnant. If you have been supposedly saved for a lengthy period of time and are still living for the most part as you did previously, then again, the issue of your salvation is questionable.

Think here for a moment of those you know who say they are saved, would you consider them hot, cold or lukewarm? “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.” (Rev. 3:15) On fire for the Lord they used to call some people, every word found a base on the solid Rock that is Christ, “Thus saith the Lord” was heard coming from their lips, along with words rarely heard today from either the pulpit or those claiming to be Christians. “Repent, sinner, evil, righteousness and unrighteousness, holy.”

No, the days of Jude 1:23 seem to be coming to a swift end, “And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.” Polite, kind, never offending, enabled, inclusive.

Tell me, these six words I just offered here, are they ones heard from cold or lukewarm “Christians?”

When it comes to the Word of God, we are never to agree to disagree, thus saith the Lord. Period. The end. If those you are speaking to in this regard do not like it, too bad. Sound like messages coming from the pulpits across the planet over the last few decades? No, it does not. Want to guess why we are in the apostacy? Not too difficult to see when you look at it like that, is it.

God is love and nothing but love, as long as you try to live a good life you will be accepted into His Kingdom, never judge, always be kind to people no matter what lifestyle they have chosen. Tell me. If you hear those words from someone who professes to be a Christian, or from the pulpit, who wrote them, God or Satan?

Sin is sin, not a choice, rebellion is mutiny, not a lifestyle, hot is not cold or lukewarm. Thus saith the Lord. Period. The end.

If indeed you are born-again, you are a representative of God Almighty, of the Lord Jesus Christ, empowered to act on His behalf by the Holy Spirit. Do you tell those who will listen that God is love, and also wrath? Do you tell them if they do not repent, they will suffer for all eternity in the Lake of Fire? Do you tell them of His mercy that endures forever, and of His judgement that falls upon the unrighteous?

Thus saith the Lord. Period. The end.
