Peace in Frustration

“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” (1st Tim. 6:10)

There are people trying to profit by gaining the whole world, and they do not care if you get left behind or not.

Life I fear for many is going to become quite difficult to say the least, especially if you have gone against Proverbs 22:7. “The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.” But massive debt or not, the words of our adversary keep entering into my mind, “Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.” (Job 2:4)

The ruling authorities of the world today, and there are far fewer of them than you might think, pay no attention to the masses as they congregate in the streets, they do not read their signs or listen to their chants, you do not factor into their plans. These men would not attempt to do what they are doing without a massive armed force behind them, and you must above all remember that it is the Almighty that has placed these people in those positions of power, and their intent is not unknown to those who have been born-again.

Those who only profess Him with their lips will heed the call of these men, they will do nearly anything for just one more day of life here on earth, the trials they will experience will be too much of a hardship for them to bear, and that is the plan. Start with the fear of a possible adverse future while lulling the masses into a sense of security, that difficulties will arise, but they will be taken care of.

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:19)

Those needs my friends, food, water, clothing and perhaps some form of shelter from the elements may be all He will provide you with in the days to come. And do not be deceived here, our adversary knows what is approaching better than any of us do, every possible advantage he can use against the ones saved by grace through faith he will use, not because you can lose your salvation, for you cannot, but because it may cause you to stop trusting the Lord and thereby dishonor His name.

Recall Daniel’s three friends here and their words to Nebuchadnezzar, “But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.” (Dan. 3:18) Did they know that the flames would have no effect on them? No, they were prepared to die for the glory of God.

Are you?

Does Philippians 1:21 ring as truth in your soul, are you prepared to say, “Thy will be done.”

It is coming and coming swiftly.

I will not venture to say what will happen to you and those you love and care for, only to say this, when, and if, great trials come your way, will you be able to stand, will you trust until the final moment, even if that moment lasts for weeks or months? “For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.” (2nd Tim. 1:12)

Pain, suffering, the loss of all your possessions, wandering, perhaps imprisoned, this is what awaits some of us, and now, today, is the day to prepare your heart to trust in the Lord and what He has planned for you.

These evil men will indeed gain the whole world and reap the reward of hell if they do not repent. Turn your eyes upon Jesus my friends, do not lose sight of Him, He has led you this far, follow Him into the fire if that is what He asks of you

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
