Only One Group

The first group will be made to feel ostracized, left out from the others of the main group, for they are different, they are not like the majority of the others. They will be mocked and belittled, even when they try to fit in, they will not be allowed to, at least not to the depth that those who name each other as “alike” are allowed to. The second group are actually treated worse, while it is true they also are mocked and made to feel less than, they are also abused, for they are defenseless, an easy target, and allow those in the main body a form of authority and superiority, the only form of it they will ever know.

Have you discerned who those three groups are, I will give you a hint, they were born that way, and sadly many remain in these states until the day of their death. Neither the first nor second group have had any choice in the matter, it is the main group of individuals that have the power to choose to change, yet most will not, for in the group is security. We all want to fit in somewhere, we seek out and accept those who are like minded, at least in part, no one ever truly knows anyone else fully and completely, no matter the years spent together, God alone knows the heart of man, (1 Sam. 16:7) no matter how close you believe yourself to be towards another, there will always be something you do not know about them.

This heart that our Lord sees, the one no man can hide from Him, is continuously wicked, (Jer. 17:9) it is of stone, (Eze. 36:26) and it matters not which group you classify yourself with, “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10) I will tell you then the analogy of these three groups with which this letter to you was begun, they are children. We are all born in sin, the age of accountability is different for each individual, the one that understands and has the grace of God to understand this saying, that those in the second group receive more grace from our Lord, for they are the slow of mind, pick any politically or non-politically correct word you choose, they are retarded, mentally challenged, deficient in their cognitive thought processes in both a linear and non-linear manner, the terminology matters little, the main group of children will see them as punching bags, as items to be ridiculed, for they are less than, sin demands superiority, it demands the “I will.” It is why the main group hates those in the first, for they are the “smart” kids, what is difficult to the main body comes easy to these others, and so they are not used as much as punching bags, for they are better equipped mentally to defend themselves, and so they are not so much of an easy target, but a target they are still.

It is not just children that can be so cruel, we are all cruel, compassion in its entirety cannot be achieved without the Holy Spirit of God, although all in each of these three groups have, as it were, the earthly ability to show what we consider the more honorable traits, they are not achievable by any of us, for all our works are as filthy rags, (Isaiah 64:6) admit it or not to yourself, there is no good in our flesh. (Romans 7:18) The age of accountability comes upon each of us when we become cognizant of self, when we first realize that we are an individual, when we begin to make choices outside of the influence of any other, it is the moment that the knowledge of good and evil enters into our thought processes. It is at this moment that we become accountable to God for our actions, it is the moment we lose our innocence before Him. It is why those who are challenged beyond measure in their minds, those of the second group, are given more grace, it is why all small children are received into glory if they die at a young age, why every aborted child opened their eyes for the first time in the presence of the Lamb in the kingdom of heaven.

All else are held personally accountable, it matters not which group they have decided to adhere themselves to, all deeds will be brought into the light, (John 3:20) every idle word will be yelled from the rooftop, (Luke 12:3) all are then and from that moment on held personally accountable for every action, thought, and deed they have ever done. All are born in sin; all are under His grace until the moment of the knowledge of good and evil enters into their hearts. All have an opportunity to return to that state of grace, the complete and total forgiveness by God of every transgression, known or unknown by them, that they, that we, have ever committed. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.” (Eph. 2:8) Mean children do not always grow up to be mean, uncaring adults, and not all will for the remainder of their lives remain in the same sought after groups, but “All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) The purity and innocence that the world extols are not considered by Almighty God, for we are all like sheep that have gone astray (Isaiah 53:6) in His eyes, there are none that are righteous. (Eccl. 7:20)

Grace my friends, the grace of God alone is all that can save any of us, no matter your position in life, no matter the path you have chosen for yourself, no matter the group you have affiliated yourself with, if you are a cognizant, thinking human being, then you are accountable, there is no one else to blame when we are outside of His grace. All who do not know and serve Jesus Christ as Lord have been left out of the only group that matters, only the born-again believer truly understands the word grace.
