Noticed

The only defense against he who goes about as a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8) is the armor of God, (Eph. 6:11) and so by default those who do not have this armor are in grave danger, that is of course, if he one, notices you, and two, decides that you are worthy of his effort.

I do not think that any of the lost are though, at least not in the terminology of being devoured. Why would they be, they pose no threat to his continued effort to dishonor the name of God, to hinder his work toward world domination, or his desire to be worshipped, in fact, they are the tools that he uses.

Mankind is the only creation of the Lord that inhabits both time and the eternal, we are not eternal in the sense that we are self-existent, but because God has deemed it to be so, we will never die. I may be completely wrong here, but I cannot recall anywhere in the Scriptures where demons torment the souls of those who have died in their sins, those who are in hell, for why would they, practice? “For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.” (Isaiah 38:18)

Those in hell serve no purpose toward those still alive on earth, and it is debatable whether or not those who have gone on to glory serve the souls of the children of men here on earth, for the ministering spirits (Heb. 1:14) are angels of God, and the great cloud of witnesses (Heb. 12:1) refers to those who are our brothers and sisters in Christ who also serve the Lord here on the earth with us. But to the question then, have you been noticed, has whatever demon that noticed you reported to his supervisor, as it were, has the work that the Lord has placed before you been enough that the higher up has informed Satan himself, and has he seen it as necessary to go to the Almighty and accuse you. (Rev. 12:10)

That is a lot of steps to take, and for someone who goes to church on Sunday, sits quietly at the mid-week Bible Study, and then spends the rest of their week basically concerned with their place in this world, I do not think that step one is even needed by our adversary with these. There are people all over this planet who have never even heard of the name of Jesus, what makes anyone believe that their name will be as well known to the world, much less to the adversary. There are those that are noticed though, and many of them have not studied the Scriptures well enough to recognize the darts that he employs, much less how to use the shield of faith.

I would ask you another question, when was the last time that you can recall a sermon on Satan, or demons, on how they operate, on the Spiritual beings that are constantly searching for born-again believers for the sole purpose of hindering their work for the Lord. Been quite a while I would guess. Oh, maybe a short mention here or there about the armor of God, but rarely one that is devoted to the ways of Satan. “The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.” (Prov. 21:12)

The wicked are the lost, and by observing them, we can, in part, see how our adversary works, for their father is the father of lies. But an even greater tool is the religious cults across the planet, from the Roman Catholic Institution, to the Muslim faith, Mormons, Buddhist, Jehovah’s Witnesses, all these and more do not serve the Lord Jesus Christ, but a false, man-made, Satan-inspired replica of Him who all men are bound to serve in the end. Satan does not hinder the work of those who work for him.

So then, why would he notice you unless you are attempting to hinder his work by reaching out to those who have been blinded by those who are blinding them that serve these false gods, why would he pay any attention at all to those who do not serve the Lord of Glory, who have not been crucified with Christ, much less those who have, but serve only in the most minor of ways. “So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.” (Luke 17:10)

The point my friends is not to work to get noticed, it is to serve without question, it is not to hide our candle (Matt. 5:15) so that we don’t get noticed, it is to obey without any thought of the possible consequences to ourselves. You have your armor on, if you get noticed, use it.

Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.
    Many crowns for you brother!

  2. BorrowedTruths

The phrases, “Fear not” or “Be not afraid”, occur 103 times in the King James Version of the Bible. There is a reason for this, but sadly, many still count their lives here as important beyond the glory of God. “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Phil. 1:21 Easy to say, when death is not at the door.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
