Nothing

“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” (John 15:5)

We take much for granted, the ability to breath being one of those things, but do you often consider that none of us would exist, nothing at all would exist if the Almighty had not for His pleasure created all that is?

You do realize that means Satan and all those that were cast out with him also, don’t you? The Lord knew what he would do, He knows what you are going to do tomorrow, where you will be and exactly what you will be doing in a trillion years from today. So, what is it we cannot do without the Lord Jesus Christ?

Notwithstanding the creation of all reality and all that contains, which of course is everything, and the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ was speaking to those that were and are followers of Him, those that have been crucified with Him, what is it that we are unable to do without Him?

Well, for starters, no ambassador of the Kingdom of God is sent out into the world without clear and concise instructions of not only what they are to speak, but how they are to conduct themselves away from the Kingdom. We have been sent out with a message, and we have been sent into the enemy’s territory, we have been told to go into that vile place and seek those that were lost. When we find them we are to repeat the words of the Scriptures that He has given us, to each as they need to come to the acknowledgement that first there is a God in heaven who loves them, that He sent His Son, God in the flesh, “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;” (Heb. 1:3) to die for their sins, and that if they will accept the truths of these words that He will indeed save them, call them His own, grant them eternal life in His presence, and send the Holy Spirit to dwell in their hearts to comfort, teach and lead them to do the same thing that He has sent you to do.

Did you see anything in all that, that you could do without Him? No, you did not.

You cannot reach out to the lost, but He can through you, if you are willing. You cannot understand the Almighty without the Holy Spirit, you cannot attain to wisdom on your own without Him, you have no Spiritual discernment, you would not be able to tell the difference between righteousness and unrighteousness, your concept of good and bad would only be formulated on what the world says those two things are. You would know the concept of love, but never an agape love, you would have a heart, but it would still be made of stone, you could never walk in this life with the full knowledge that every evil, sinful deed you have done or ever will do is completely and totally forgiven.

Brute beasts, the wicked, spend their entire lives without any knowledge of these truths, they can do everything apart from Christ because they do nothing for Christ. Many of them believe they will be welcomed into heaven because, for the most part, they were good people, they lived lives that did not cause intentional harm to anyone.

No one can enter into heaven except through Jesus Christ. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)

The Almighty is not going to spoon feed you, He is not going to wake you up to go to work in the morning, but you can rest assured that anything you attempt to do for His glory cannot be done without Him.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
