Not For You

The world is full of empty minded buffoons who do little more with the entirety of their lives than follow what their eyes see, and their ears hear. All of them seem to believe that they have within themselves some form of self-worth, that they have value, that they are necessary. From the ones who fulfill the most menial of tasks to those who are in charge of major corporations and even nations, they are wise only in the ways of the world, (1 Cor. 3:19) and will be shown for not only is this world as we know it coming to a close, but so is their useless little life.

It is virtually impossible in the majority of these individuals, prince or pauper to assist them in seeing the light. They believe themselves to be of use, of some value in some way to their fellow man, they are so filled with pride they will not conceded that billions have come before them who thought just as they did and each of them now has returned to dust. They will either follow, as long as their terms are met, or they will attempt to lead by coercion or favors implied, but they will not submit to the Most High.

These are the brute beast, (2 Peter 2:12) and the world is filled with them, they congregate in large and small groups, seeking for like-minded souls, imagining they can make a change, while those who sit in authority over them believe they are doing the same, all of them seeking for some kind of recognition, some sense of self-worth, blissfully ignorant that one day they will return to the dust, every accomplishment nothing more than a distant memory left behind for those who will also be forgotten in a very short period of time. “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” (Gen. 6:5)

Nothing has changed, most men only regard the Most High when an unforeseen circumstance engulfs their lives, when something more than a minor inconvenience comes upon them, and even then they will only call upon some unknown “higher power” asking for protection and provision until the sun comes back out, their pride will return, in fact it will grow, for they have traversed the valley of the shadow of death, (Psalm 23:4) and come out on the other side unscathed, all as if there is no God.

Those who have been crucified with Christ are the remembered, so to speak, for we know these truths not only to be self-evident, but frustrating beyond compare. We do all that we can in the short time that we have to inform these brute beasts of these truths, but few if any will listen, we speak to them about the brevity of life, that death indeed will soon make a personal house call upon them, that eternal torment awaits them, and we are seen and treated as the fools that they truly are. “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.” (1 Cor. 1:18)

You will not experience any of these frustrations if you do not speak to them, if you just go along on your merry way serving Christ without fulfilling this one obligation, if you only inform them that Jesus loves them, loves everybody, and that in the end that is all that matters. If you never warn them about the Lake of Fire, if you never tell them that the wrath of God is abiding upon them even today, then everything will be fine for you also. And don’t be concerned about Matthew 10:33, “But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.” That verse is not for you, is it?

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
