“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” (1 John 2:15)

Those that are in this world do not love the world as much as they love their lives, or I should say the continuation of their lives. They do not want to die, and they want to get all they can before they do.

I simply cannot compare anymore a few decades of life to eternity, to forever, it just doesn’t make sense anymore to me. There has to be a denying in those individuals that still love this world of Romans 1:20, “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:” and that denying has to be done with intent.

Science and philosophy of course are quite adequate for most people to explain migratory birds, instinct, though undefined, tells us why animals do what they do, but people do not have instincts, we have free will, and the Scriptures are quite clear here, none are with an excuse. These words mean that everyone recognizes, has accepted, and in the case of the wicked, rejected the truth of those invisible things.

One of the main purposes of the sciences in higher learning educations was to find out the workings of the creation of the Most High. Glory was ascribed to Him, His works were held up as items that only the Sovereign Lord of all creation could accomplish, Today, the main effort of these same studies is not to seek the working of God for His glory, but to attempt to debunk them, and therefore not just belittle God, not just explain Him away, but to exercise Him completely from the thoughts of man. “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.” (Romans 1:22)

When the unexplainable cannot be explained, diversions are created, those who hold fast to the truth are denounced, and in many cases not just ridiculed, but prosecuted in one form or another. The truth is being labeled disinformation, as was told before in the Word of God, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20) The father of lies knows the truth, else he would not be able to lie against it, and those who have recognized the truth and denied it, have Satan for their father.

Vanity and pride rule today in the highest offices across the planet, for these are the two main factors that kill truth. This is why you must be grounded in the Word, this is why you must continually study to show yourself approved, because, and I have no verifiable proof of this, but I believe that the availability of outside news sources is going to dwindle quite rapidly soon. How many will believe what they are told when they have no way to verify those statements offered, when there remains no option for secondary sources of information, much less opposing views?

Recall those isolated villages of the past, where every face was known, until a stranger came to town with news from afar. Is he lying or telling the truth?

Satan has always, and is now, tried to stifle the truth, to divert attention away from it, and always in a way that not only dishonors God in the hearer’s ear, but cause doubt as to the validity of His Sovereignty, if not His existence. In other words, my friends, a day may be coming when you will be, so to speak, on your own, and if you do not know the truth, you will be deceived.

I ask you to recall if nothing else from this short letter this fact, this world is built on lies, every part of it, it is one of the main reasons we are told not to love it. When, and if, the news of this world stops being available to you, do not search for it, think on heavenly things. “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” (Col. 3:2) In fact, come to think of it, you should be doing that today.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
