No animal, with very few exceptions, has ever been taught how to be what it was created to be, every living creature created by the Almighty has been given instincts, born with the knowledge of what to do and how to do it.
No animal has ever modified itself to be able to blend into its surroundings, grown wings, longer teeth or in any way transformed itself by its own free will to be that which it never was. Evolution is a construct of the imaginations of men who oppose God at every turn.
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” (Gen. 1:27)
Mankind is the only one who has been blessed with choices as to the direction of their lives, if your grandmother and your father were alcoholics, it does not mean that you have some new gene structure that will cause you to be as they were, no more than if they were thieves or liars, saved or wicked. Hair, skin and eye color, yes, but a disposition in a certain manner, no.
“Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” (Psalm 51:5)
Sin in this regard does not infer an evil disposition, it reveals the truth of Romans 3:23. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
Even the most abused and mistreated child, one who is raised in an evil and sinful household has the free will to choose their own path in this life, no less than the one born into a home where the Lord Jesus Christ is served to the glory of God.
If all that has been written here was not truth, then Romans 14:12 would be a lie.
“So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”
If your parents were drug addicts, and you spent many years doing the same, you cannot blame some hidden genetic fault. If those you were raised with served the Living God, and you have chosen a life of rebellion against the Almighty, do not go looking for some “Jesus gene,” it does not exist anymore than the instinctual ones evolutionists claim are within us.
Who you are is who you chose to be.
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” (Rev. 12:11)
“Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.” (Heb. 13:3)
Free will, the free will that all have been born with has no equal, we were all made in the image of God, yet we have the choice to accept that truth or deny it. Those who will die in their sins will have no one to blame but themselves, those who have been born-again will have no one to thank but the Lord Jesus Christ.
This must be stated again, the free will of mankind in the mind of man cannot be reconciled to the truth that we all have free will, and that the Almighty is Sovereign.
Both are true.
A child raised in the house of drunkards, thieves and liars, in the house of drug addicts and pain will have a propensity to follow that lifestyle, no different than the one who is raised by those who fear God and serve Him. But that does not mean they must follow that life, in either form.
“And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.” (John 6:65)
Evil men have fallen on their face before the Almighty, been forgiven and are now called the sons of God, heirs to the Kingdom of the Most High. Children have strayed from the path their parents attempted to place them on, and now reside in hell.
There will be no excuses accepted, no talk of passed on genetic structures, no foolish words of instinctual traits, no words of propensity, upbringing, or evolutionary garbage. Your actions, your choices, repent and be born-again by grace through faith, or spend eternity in the Lake of Fire.
Every single person who has died knows these words to be truth, we are to attempt to reach out to those who still walk this planet with these truths.
“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.” (John 6:44)
Your choice. The realization of these truths knows no excuse.
