“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
How does one conquer that which one has complete and absolute control over?
Of all the protests in the streets of many cities around the planet, where businesses are destroyed, items set on fire, and lives are ruined, do you believe that in any of those incidents that there was even one person who was born-again connected to those events?
Those who are in authority over us who are intentionally causing distress, who agree with the aforementioned mob, who are assisting the sodomites in their worldwide endeavors and allowing thieves and evil men to perform evil deeds with little to no repercussions, are any who have been hid in Christ assisting them?
Is there even one person who has been saved by grace through faith agreeing with these actions mentioned here?
No, there is not.
How is it said then that He who rules over all creation, the Almighty God, will conquer His enemies?
“A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.” (Prov. 16:9)
In a way that the human mind can comprehend, the Most High does have enemies, but they are as inconsequential to Him as a single ant is to us.
“Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.” (Job 38:4)
Since the Most High allowed Satan to enter into the garden of Eden, yea, in fact, when He allowed him to attempt to coerce the angels of the Living God, the Almighty has been in control, He has always been in control, He has, in a way we cannot comprehend, no enemies of any consequence to Him. What is, what always has been and what forever will be is for His pleasure.
“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” (Rev. 4:11)
That word “pleasure” is not intended to infer happiness, but His will, and no one can stand against the will of God.
Every angel was created with free will, every person born was given the same blessing, but those we call devils today have something we do not have, a leash, a chain in a sense, they are allowed only so much free will to do as they please, they are no more of a threat to the Almighty than that ant is to you. That will change to a degree and only still in accordance to the good pleasure, the will of God, when this verse is fulfilled.
“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” (1st Cor. 15:52)
The prince of the power of the air, he who has the power of death, is servant to the Most High, His will is done in certain areas through Satan.
“I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.” (Isaiah 45:7)
But in a way that we will never fully understand, mankind has complete and total free will to do as he pleases, we are limited only by the constraints of the flesh and the environment of this planet we live upon. Our mind is ours to do with as we please, our thoughts, imaginations of the heart are ours to control.
“I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.” (Psalm 82:6)
In this respect my friends, not one person ever born, from Adam to today, has ever had a chain of forced service to the Almighty placed upon their neck.
“If ye love me, keep my commandments.” (John 14:15)
The Living God stands alone, completely Sovereign over every aspect of His creation, there is nothing for Him to conquer.
“Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.” (Psalm 90:2)
There are consequences for those actions that those who are born-again take that are against the will of God, but everything that He brings or allows into our lives is for good. Remember that much of this short letter to you today.
“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” (Romans 8:37)
