Moral Breakdown

Has morality as a whole departed from the face of the planet, is man now doing what he desires to do without any fear of God intervening?

That is in essence the only thing that holds any semblance of the morality of man in check, the deep-seated knowledge that there is a just God who is Sovereign over all of His creation, and that wicked deeds will indeed be punished. “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” (Prov. 14:12) The verse that comes to mind though is 2 Peter 3:4, “And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.”

When wicked men rule a nation, it is because the Lord has either determined that that nation must be punished, or for reasons that will bring glory to His name, He has removed His hand of mercy and protection from that nation. This is not to say that all within that country are unrepentant sinners, for the Lord always leaves Himself a remnant, but it does mean, as a whole, that the nation has determined to no longer serve the Lord God. The rain will fall on the just as well as the unjust, (Matt. 5:45) yet no evil will befall those who serve the Most High. (Psalm 91:10)

It takes very little to realize that the nation this time is indeed all nations, which can only infer that we are indeed in the last days before the rapture of the church. Prideful men, and women, have been set in nearly every nation on the planet, those who have stood against this coming evil have been destroyed, they have been killed, and replaced by those that Satan is using to further his intended goal, his final stand in these last days. This battle, if you will, is being fought in the Spiritual realm, it always has been, and while the inhabitants of the earth are intertwined in this battle, the Lord is controlling and directing all that is happening and approaching, for His glory.

The first signs of any nation that begins its slippery slope to a cataclysmic end is the decline of the morality of that nation, and these signs began to be evident on a planetary scale several decades ago. Abortions on demand, gay marriages, open rebellion in nearly every area that the Lord has deemed as sinful, yet fear has left many, if not most, of the punishment for those sins, and that is the biggest reason for these days. We have forgotten that the Lord is Holy, Righteous and Sovereign, we have forgotten that all of creation is His, that by His will all was made, (Col. 1:16) and by His will all consists. (Col. 1:17)

Man has attempted to become the god of his own destiny, to say with Satan “I will,” (Isaiah 14:14) and throughout history, in every nation that has done so, that is the first step towards the end of that nation.

We are going to witness some very violent and turbulent days ahead, some of it right on our own doorstep. What we, as children, as servants of the Lord God must decide, is if we are going to rejoice in these days, or will we fall by the wayside, will we complain or warn, will we sing His praises or mourn our own personal losses.

I offer you only this, the character and integrity of a man of God does not change with the circumstances that surround his life at any given moment. The Rock of our salvation does not change, neither should our desire to remain obedient to His will in our lives, no matter what He calls us to do.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
