Loving Those Who Hate

Moses, a murderer. Paul, a murderer. Abraham, David, men of war at times who killed with their own hands. And most of us are concerned, and overly concerned at times, with an occasional thought or minor word, action or deed that is displeasing in the eyes of the Almighty.

“And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” (Matt. 22:39)

You might like to believe that in the case of David that he had no choice, that the nations around him were attacking Israel and it was necessary to defend themselves. Is that loving your neighbor as yourself? Moses saw one of his brethren being beaten, he did not attempt to rectify the situation with love, he killed the man.

“And he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? intendest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian? And Moses feared, and said, Surely this thing is known.” (Exo. 2:14)

Yet we find fault in ourselves when we glance at something of this world more than once, and, if even for a moment, begin to covet it.

The path to submission is taught by obedience, and obedience if not offered willingly, or if not given even under duress, is cause for persecution. Who is that speaking of, those who follow the Lord Jesus Christ, or the path that Satan is leading the world upon today?

Toe the perfect line with no variance, or be chastised by the Almighty, is that how you think?

Love your neighbor as yourself, whether they be the newest, and seemingly endless form of the sodomites, the millions of illegal immigrants flowing across every border, the thieves and robbers, or feel the punishment of the legal system that protects their right to sin, to be evil.

Where does your love stop, and where does your hatred begin for those who despise the will and way of the Lord our God?

“But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.” (Matt. 24:43)

And when the evil man arrived, what would you do? Love him? Read Scripture to him? Drop to your knees and pray while he ransacks your house, has his way with your family?

We watch the evil march down our streets in open defiance to the Word of God in large numbers and do little if anything, the evil grows daily, while in some countries, if they show their desires in public, they are killed. Who is right?

“Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.” (Eccl. 8:11)

Love your neighbor by letting them do whatever they want to do, that is the path many nations have taken, and if you stand against these evils, you will be punished.

There is a sense, a feeling if you will, of despair growing within the Christian community, of those who are hid in Christ, for we know full well that what is approaching cannot be stopped, evil is going to continue to grow and spread across this planet at an exponential rate, and there is absolutely nothing we can do to stop it, the Almighty is lowering the hedges, the chaff are being separated from the wheat more and more each passing day.

“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” (Luke 21:28)

“Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” (1 Thess. 4:18)

And we who have been born-again, what are we to do?

“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” (Eph. 6:13)

Do not take your armor off for even one second, do not move when pushed, never agree to disagree, prepare your heart today to suffer persecution, to die for the Lord our God if He so desires in a way that you never considered before.

“He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.” (John 12:25)

Murderers are on their way, they want to kill the truth, they want to kill the Word of God, and you are the one standing for the truths of His Word.

There will be no revival, there will be death, and you need to decide how you are going to love your neighbor, by standing against the evil they stand for, or simply watching, and hoping they do not notice you.

There are several items I would ask you to consider before you click on the Donate button.

1.    Please pray carefully about donating; “Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” (2nd Cor. 9:7)

2.    Your first responsibility is to the Lord; “Honor the LORD with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase”: (Prov. 3:9)

3.    You must consider your family after your first responsibility; “But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.” (1st Tim. 5:8)

4.    If you determine that you have been blessed by this ministry and decide to donate, please know this, your donations will be accepted with great thanks, and all the glory will go to God.
