“And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.” (Matt. 13:42)
The most sorrowful, heart wrenching, despairing moment you have ever experienced cannot be compared in any way to a single moment of those who wail in hell. The vilest, most brutal uncaring act committed on another human being out of pure hatred cannot be compared to a single second of time with those who are gnashing their teeth in hell right now.
“Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.” (Mark 9:44)
They are the worms, and just as those who have been justified and declared righteous by the Living God, they will live forever.
“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.” (John 10:28)
“And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.” (Rev. 20:14)
The Almighty does not look at the end of the earthly existence of a human being as we do, or better yet perhaps, as those who will die in their sins see it. There is a continuation for all who have been created in His image, all are created with the same living soul that Adam was, he is just as much alive today as you are. Pain, eternal pain and incomprehensible suffering, or pleasures forevermore, these are the only two choices.
And we have one life to make that choice.
Do not be deceived by the lies of the Roman Catholic cult and their offering of purgatory, they are nothing more than that, fabricated lies meant to keep their supplicants in bondage. Reincarnation, a second chance does not exist, becoming one with the cosmos, experiencing nirvana, all of these are man-made, inspired in the human mind by Satan.
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” (Heb. 9:27)
Our adversary is well aware of this truth, it would not surprise me if he has visited hell, perhaps even the place where he will be chained for a thousand years. He may have even stood on the precipice of the Lake of Fire, knowing full well that he will suffer just as much if not more than the lowest man who would not repent will.
And that suffering will never end.
While you are preparing, as much as any of us can, to relish in pleasures forevermore, in the anticipation of life, and that in the fullness of joy that we can only today imagine, are you reaching out to those you know today that if they die today will suffer eternally in ways that no one on this earth can begin to comprehend?
My friends, I cannot express this truth enough, you also only have one opportunity, one life, one chance to reach them for the glory of God. No one in heaven today is going to hell to witness to those there about the price paid for them, about the love of the Savior, of eternal life in His presence. It is too late for them, for them all hope is gone.
The pride the wicked hold in their hearts today that they have lived a good enough life here to be accepted by the Almighty when they die does not exist in hell. The reliance on good works, of following traditions, of being obedient to their priests, even their pastors in an attempt to sway the mind of the Living God towards their favor is not found in that place of torment.
Everyone in hell knows why they are there, and so they wail and gnash their teeth.
Loving the Lord our God and following the Lord Jesus Christ means speaking not only of the love offered to all, but of the consequences if they reject that love.
“Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” (Gal. 4:16)
Let them hate you, you speak the truth.
