“The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.” (Prov. 8:13) And my friends, the days are extremely evil. The world has always been a dangerous place for those who profess Christ as Lord, but you must remember these words, profess Him as Lord. “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” (Matt. 24:13)
Theologians have long discussed this verse, many, myself included, believe that it refers to those who will accept Jesus Christ as Lord during the tribulation period, the saints, the church of Christ along with the Holy Spirit will be gone from the earth. Although He will of course still have a presence here, for He is God, no one will be imbued with the Holy Spirit as we are now. We cannot lose our salvation, although some who call Him Lord today will be left behind, all of His children will be removed before the great and terrible day of the Lord. (Joel 2:31) The evil that is before us today has never been seen before to this level of degree, not since the days of Noah, when the heart of man was continuously evil before the Lord. (Gen. 6:5)
The evil I speak of here is not the small, non-life threatening ones that inhibit us every day, though they are no less destructive, what is coming upon us is more than violent, it is malevolent in its intent, its goal is to destroy all who will dare to stand in its way. This is the evil we are commanded to hate; this is the evil that God Almighty hates. Its destructive power cannot be stopped, the days that are coming have been foretold in the Word of God from ages past, before the foundation of this world, these days have been appointed. Neither you nor I can stop them, but we can stand.
The individual, according to the world can do very little, the individual who places his trust and faith in Jesus Christ cannot be stopped. Many will renounce His name for the sake of personal safety, for the continuance of their lives, for security and a false hope they will not continue to follow. Many will die, for they have determined before hand to stand, not just for Christ, but against the rulers of this spiritual darkness. It could get very difficult in the very near future, I am not a doomsday prophet, I am not a conspiracy theorist, I have no new revelation from the Lord, “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” (Matt. 24:36) But I do have eyes and ears that He has opened, I have been blessed with spiritual discernment, and I, along with many others, are being shown that the leaves on the fig tree are turning green.
All will be told that “we just need to pull together,” that the plans they are making for us are for the security, safety, and betterment of all mankind, our minds they will attempt to herd like cattle with platitudes and ingenious plans, but eventually, all cattle are herded into the feedlot, and then the killing floor.
The great evil that is approaching will come in the guise of care and compassion, a great desire to serve all mankind, but it is the same evil that slithered into the garden that day, it is subtle, deceiving and has only one thought on its, on his mind, complete domination and the desire to be worshipped. “It is for the best of all,” will be their battle cry, “The age of man will lead to a glorious future,” they will declare. Those who will not participate, those who will not acquiesce to what is determined to be the best for all will be persuaded, first by pleading, then by fines, the ability to attain basic needs unless the requirements are met will be denied them. And no my friends, I am not speaking of the tribulation period and the mark of the beast, the bride of Christ will be long gone before then, but no train pulls up to the station at top speed, and none leave it at that speed either.
Subtlety and fear are the key, they always have been. It could get very difficult to say the least for some of us before we are taken home. Prepare your heart now, seek His face while there is still time, set your face like a flint, let your resolve be firm no matter the circumstances, the consequences if you do not are to terrible to imagine. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (Prov. 3:5-6)
