“And unto his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant may have a light alway before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen me to put my name there.” (1st Kings 11:36)
I have done the research, and the most powerful words I can think of are incredulous, beyond reprehensible, of great sin. There are homosexual bars in the city of Jerusalem, there are what are called “pride parades,” in the city that the Almighty chose for Himself. One part of me thinks, “How can the people who are in charge, those who are in authority over that city ever have begun to allow such a great transgression against the Living God, how could those, who although denying the Lord Jesus Christ as the only way to salvation, but still professing a faith in the Most High God, He who led them out of the house of bondage, have been overridden in their rebukes of those who have and are allowing such an atrocity, such a blatant sin in His eyes?”
The human mind has much difficulty comprehending the reality of this verse, “And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” (Matt. 24:22)
Over two thousand years of grace, two thousand years of pleading in love to repent.
The wrath of the Almighty during the Tribulation period will be far beyond fierce, and those who love Him do not blame Him one bit.
As Balaam taught how to coerce the children of the Most High God to transgress His laws and incur His punishments for doing so, Satan has sneaked into the Holy city, and now walks unhindered through its streets.
“Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.” (Psalm 118:2) But if you knowingly and willingly sin, there will be chastisement.
We are told to pray for the peace of Israel, but we are also commanded to hate the evil. Sodom and Gomorrah are still thriving communities, they have simply moved to a different location, and nearly every city on the planet has fallen prey to the wiles of the devil, man’s desire to be free of the Word and will of God always leads to open rebellion, and always leads to punishment from Him who owns all of creation. His wrath will be fierce, there will be no mercy, save for those who will call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the salvation of their souls, and many, if not most of them, will also die.
It is more than a slap in the face, it is open rebellion, it is pride, it is a desire to be free from His ordinances and precepts.
It is a mistake beyond comparison.
I have not done the research in this area, but I wonder, when the first gay bar opened in Jerusalem, was there an outcry from the population, were there great swelling protests, did those who serve the Almighty demand the ouster of those who allowed the permit for such a place of sin? Or did most of the population believe that people should be allowed to live and love as they please?
Places where abortions are performed, homosexual events, children being exposed to blatant and open sinful acts, transgender reassignment surgery on the young, so-called churches of Satan, the Roman Catholic cult, works-based religious organizations where Christ is lowered and man is lifted up. This planet is covered in sin, and the light of those who have been born-again seems to be growing dimmer, not brighter.
Judgment has been announced, His wrath will follow.
Prepare yourselves accordingly.
