The big event you never heard of.
There are actually people on YouTube that believe the Almighty is speaking to them personally about future events, events that will happen that He did not place in His Holy Book. These people honestly believe it was the voice of God they have either heard audibly, in their mind or heart, or in dreams and visions, and they are to tell the world what they believe has been revealed to them.
And their video receives all of a few thousand views at best. A far cry from the eight billion souls on this planet.
“For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” (Matt. 24:5)
And that amount is beyond prolific today my friends. When these channels are placed before me, I rebuke them and attempt to assist those in the comment section with the truths of the Scriptures, but few care to listen, they are the fulfilment of 2nd Timothy 3:13.
“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.”
And they will stand firm with the one who is deceiving them.
It may be, and probably is true, that the presenter of what is being offered actually believes what they are saying, no different than Eve did when our adversary spoke to her in the garden, the lie presented seemed as a truth, and did exactly what was desired by Satan, caused doubt in the validity of what the Almighty had spoken to them.
Some of these false prophets, for that is what they are, are extremely adamant about what they believe, even after I do a search of their past videos and reveal to them how many times in the past they have been wrong, and many in the comment section when this truth is revealed to them will openly rebuke my words, even after Deuteronomy 18:22 is given to them.
“When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.”
There are some of course who do this on purpose, knowing full well they are deceiving those who follow them and that for the sake of filthy lucre, YouTube can be quite a profitable venture with enough followers. Others though actually believe that the Living God has spoken to them directly, and the misinterpretations of these previous times to them mean nothing, they must have heard Him incorrectly, this time they are right for sure.
A few hundred views, a few thousand, even hundreds of thousands, it matters not to Satan, as long as the message of the cross is perverted, he started with one person, his lies have encapsulated nearly the entire planet. Speaking for God or speaking as God, as long as those who hear are deceived, that is all that matters.
“For many are called, but few are chosen.” (Matt. 22:14)
Everything we need to know about the future has been written down for us in the Word of God, yes, He does speak to us personally, the Holy Spirit reveals the truths of the Scriptures to us. But no one has been given any future revelations concerning His plans for mankind, and everyone who believes so is being deceived.
Study the Scriptures in an attempt to decipher these prophetic events of what is approaching if you so desire to, but do not make them your mainstay.
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)
Knowing the future will not save a person from eternal damnation, knowing Christ will.
Study the ways of the wiles of the devil, but study more to show yourself approved. Recognize those that are deceived, reach out with the truths of the Scriptures to those who are being deceived, the truth may set them free.
