“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” (Matt. 6:10)
There will be worldwide famines, there will be a total worldwide economic crash, wars, pestilence, earthquakes in many places. And here is a truth that you must realize, worrying about these things is a sin, disrespectful in the extreme to your Father in heaven.
You must be able to contemplate what is today and what is approaching with a sense of calm assurance, it is what sets us apart from the rest of the people of this planet.
“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Phil. 4:13)
Not worrying is one of those things that you can do.
It is almost impossible to not notice much of what is occurring across the planet today, and I believe this is another truth for you, what the Almighty is revealing to you is meant for you to see, but never to fear.
Our purpose in life is to glorify the Most High, the wicked and the lost are viewing much of the same things you are, and they are afraid, fearful of not only these days but of a future that at best is unrecognizable to them. The world is how many of them will initialize their conversations with you, either from what they have witnessed from a distance via the internet or television, or circumstances that are affecting them directly in their lives.
Their fear will be expressed with words of uncertainty, nervousness, and anxiety, and while we are never to be uncaring in these matters that they believe are important, we are also never to leave them where we found them. So, with all that said, I place before you a question, are you your brother’s keeper?
“And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.” (Matt. 22:39)
Your calmness and assurance in these evil days, in these beginnings of sorrows is not just going to rub off on them, because you are at peace does not mean peaceful and reassuring words will place in them the same frame of mind that you possess.
“For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” (1st Cor. 2:16)
You know one very important point that they do not know, that the Almighty is completely in control of everything that is happening, and that, in these evil days my friends, is the foundation of your faith.
This is a truth that you must realize, for without this faith, without this knowledge, the only option left is doubt, and doubts lead to fear.
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” (Prov. 3:5)
Everything that is occurring we knew would happen, not one of us wanted to be born into these days, but here He has placed us, and so here is our work. Not to try to stop what is approaching, it cannot be stopped, not to offer platitudes to those we meet of “It will be alright, everything will work out,” and definitely never to agree with them about how fearful these days are.
“Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.” (2nd Cor. 4:10)
Offer them hope, tell them why you are not afraid, tell them in whom you trust, that not a blade of grass moves on this planet unless the Almighty allows it to.
Satan is advancing, because God said he could, wars, famines, pestilences all will occur because it is His will for them to happen. My friends, His will is always being done on earth, many times in ways we cannot understand, but no one directs the hand of the Almighty.
Every time you witness “bad news,” which seems to be about every twelve seconds these days, always remember, your Father in heaven is in complete control. It is the only way that those you meet will ever attain to what you have been blessed with, a peace that passes all understanding.
Introduce them to the One that gave that peace to you.
